Just got back from an EPIC vacation with the kids—and I mean that literally! We had the chance to explore Universal’s brand new Epic Universe before its grand opening and squeezed in a magical day at Disney, too!

At Epic Universe, we did every single ride—some of them more than once! It was nonstop fun from start to finish.

Our hands-down family favorite? Super Nintendo World! From the interactive games and character encounters to the immersive theming, it truly felt like we stepped into a Mario video game. We laughed, competed, and explored every inch of the land—it’s an absolute must-do for families!

Coming in at a close second: Isle of Berk! With thrilling rides, a heartwarming show, and jaw-dropping scenery, it felt like we were really soaring with dragons.

Dark Universe was incredibly well done—spooky, detailed, and thrilling—but a bit intense for my younger ones. If you’re into monsters and aren’t easily scared, you’ll be blown away.

And of course, as a proud Potterhead, I have to mention the Wizarding World expansion featuring Fantastic Beasts and the Ministry of Magic. It’s next-level magical. The detail, the atmosphere—pure wizarding wonder!

Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a gamer, a dragon-trainer, or a wizard at heart, Epic Universe truly has something for everyone.
