It's been an interesting summer for our tour boat The Discovery! She has been out of the water all summer for a major update that we thought would be completed in May but when it comes to boats you should always expect the unexpected.
It's been a challenge but it has led to some amazing collaborations with other tour boat companies and land based venues, too! This Saturday, August 22nd we will be pivoting our Geology & The Wine In Your Glass presentation from sea to farm. The event scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 7-8:30pm will now be held at Elderberry Farms Estates.

We’ll still be exploring the fascinating science of terroir, guided by Koffi Kpachavi, co-founder of Wine and Geology Tours. The evening will feature a guided tasting comparing Michigan’s wine-growing region with other wine regions around the world, with a special focus on how the same grape variety can express itself so differently from one region to another.
While we’re certainly disappointed that The Discovery won’t be ready to welcome you aboard, we’re excited to share this beautiful new setting with you and create a memorable evening together.
