Captain Jon Borreson - Fishing Guide Guided Fishing & Bowfishing Trips on Mississippi River with Captain Jon Borreson. Fishing Pool 6,7, & 8. Trempealeau, Winona, La Crosse Trips are full day only.

Most of my guiding takes place out of Trempealeau WI.. Trempealeau is home to Lock and Dam 6 and allows us to fish both pools 6 and 7. I am willing to travel if you want to fish different pools. Pools I would guide on are 5a, 6, 7, and 8. Ice fishing trips are done by airboat and start mid December til mid March ice depending.

Thank you everyone for trusting me with your time and fishing trip this season! I try my best to put you on the fish! Today was most likely my last day of ice fishing for the season. Bite was up and down with dirty water and the wind but we ground it out to end with a limit of perch and gills. Congratulations guys! Nice fish and nice job catching them! The lund is plugged in and ready to go next week for perch and walleye fishing. If you want to try some open water perch fishing, or bass / pike fishing in April get ahold of me! Otherwise hope to see all of you guys/gals next winter! Thanks again!
