A lot of first-time buyers are surprised to learn that, in many cases, it takes about 30 days to close on a home after an offer is accepted.

Of course, every transaction is different. The timeline can vary depending on the loan, appraisal, inspections, title work, and a number of other factors.

But here's what I've found matters just as much as how long it takes:

🤝 Having someone you can call when questions come up
