When the Met is completely closed to the public, creating a wonderfully serene atmosphere. It felt almost like a private photo shoot with my colleague, Armia Malak Khalil an incredible artist and sculptor. Thank you for capturing these moments as I explored the masterpieces—from newly installed Giacometti to the Temple of Dendur and the American Wing—taking in every intricate detail. It was truly a remarkable & fun experience. BTL get ready for these photos for the second article!

To celebrate my birthday on May 25, I’ve decided to start a new tradition! Instead of a celebration for myself, I want to celebrate the incredible artists who make the world (and my job!) so beautiful.

I’m giving back with a $500 Artist Grant to one creator in need. Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, performance artist, or working in mixed media: this is for you. Art is the heartbeat of New York City, and I want to support the hands that keep it beating. ❤️

This is all about being honest and supporting our community. No hoops to jump through, just real support for those who create the magic we see in museums every day.
