Excited to share that I had the honor of contributing to the second edition of Beyond the Lobby BTL , a magazine dedicated to concierges and the hospitality industry! In this issue, I was interviewed by the magazine’s founding members about my perspective on art appreciation. I discussed how to find meaningful and joyful moments in art, especially for those who may find it intimidating.

I also shared an incredible photo taken by my colleague from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Armia Malak Khalil Armia Khalil, who is a renowned sculptor in his own right. Be sure to catch the feature on CBS Sunday Morning News when you get a chance!

When the Met is completely closed to the public, creating a wonderfully serene atmosphere. It felt almost like a private photo shoot with my colleague, Armia Malak Khalil an incredible artist and sculptor. Thank you for capturing these moments as I explored the masterpieces—from newly installed Giacometti to the Temple of Dendur and the American Wing—taking in every intricate detail. To celebrate my birthday on May 25, I’ve decided to start a new tradition! Instead of a celebration for myself, I want to celebrate the incredible artists who make the world (and my job!) so beautiful.

I’m giving back with a $500 Artist Grant to one creator in need. Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, performance artist, or working in mixed media: this is for you. Art is the heartbeat of New York City, and I want to support the hands that keep it beating. ❤️
