They along with their cowboys have been guiding riders through Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks for over 30 years. They have over 200 horses and dozens of sure-footed mules from which you can choose. Their wranglers take riders of all types and levels into the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon

Meet Cache,

Cache grew up working summers for CTR through middle school, high school and college. This is his 10th season full time and is the oldest grandson of Pete Mangum the owner. Cache is one of the horse shoers and fills in for John Henry occasionally loading rides. Cache lives in Tropic, Utah and has a wife Kylie and 3 kids Maelie, Cohen, and Claire. Cache has split time between working in Zion and Bryce. Cache works very hard for Canyon Trail Rides and we couldn’t do it without his help!

Tawn Mangum is the son of Pete and Keela Mangum. At the age of 3 he took his first trip around the Peek-A-Boo loop in Bryce Canyon, and has taken numerous trips around that loop since. The day after graduating high school he took over managing the mules at the North Rim. He spent the next 19 years running mules and raising his family at the canyon. 14 years ago he became the CEO for Canyon Trail Rides, he now keeps the road pretty hot traveling between all 3 parks every week. As well as finding time to help maintain and harvest 250 acres of hay. His dedication to Canyon Trail Rides helps keep the business running smoothly, he loves what he does and it shows. Tawn is the all around Cowboy of the Canyons!
