The Carolina Balloonfest in Statesville, North Carolina is one of the country's longest running hot air balloon festivals...with 2025 being its 50th year! This fun three-day event kicks off again from October 17th through October 19th for 2025 with all sorts of entertainment. Watching the hot air balloons take to the sky is the main attraction, but you’ll also find plenty more to do here including hot air balloon rides, live music, food vendors, wine and craft beer tastings, a kid’s zone, and artisan market among plenty more. Help us welcome Marc Klinger from Troutman, NC, flying Oochie5 at the 50th Carolina BalloonFest!

They’ve been flying with us for 25 years, and we’re honored to have them back.

When asked why they keep coming back year after year, they simply said: “There is nothing better than sharing the sport of ballooning with family, friends and your community.”
