As 2022 draws to a close, is there an entrepreneur wanna be looking for a turn key business that promotes small businesses in both Troy and Albany?

After 6 deliciously fun years offering walking food tours to locals and tourists, I have decided to retire. This seasonal business is positioned to grow with the correct owner.

DM if you are serious about being your own boss and offering great experiences to your guests while supporting 11 small businesses directly.

Happy holidays to you all!

Last night I got to explore . Thanks to for celebrating their partners and the 2022 year! This boutique hotel is set on Thurlowe Terrace close to Washington Park. The history is rich, the furnishings warm and a great place to meet for a drink or host out of town guests!

Last night a meet a foodie friend . While neither one of us likes night driving, this new addition to Kinderhook was equidistant from our two homes and well worth the trip.
Eclectic, small menu with interesting offerings. We shared the:
✅Tivoli Trumpet Mushroom Satay (tamarind glaze, pickled onion and spicy herb sauce)
✅Wild-Caught Lemongrass Shrimp Burger (milk bun, pickled cucumbers, shredded Swiss chard, sambas Mayo, sweet potato chips)
✅Siagroompudding (Samascott strawberries, almond lace cookie- light lemony pudding)
✅Chocolate Torte (crème fraiche, cacao nibs)
My top two were the burger and the pudding!
Biggest issue- it is a bit hard to find, the entrance is tucked in the back of the street address and no signage to guide you. Worth finding however. Will have to try their Morningbird Cafe next time!

This bonus autumn weather makes for great road-trips! Yesterday we headed south to celebrate one of our pals entry into a new decade!
We started by roaming around Rhineback with some nourishment . Then we continued on to Hyde Park to tour the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt and then on to dinner and American Bounty. The food was delicious! However, the service was very shaky!
