🍹🚢 Wait…Disney Cruise Line Has Adults-Only Areas?! ✨

Absolutely—and this is one of the things I think surprises people most about a Disney Cruise.

As we continue exploring the Disney Wish before she comes to New York City next fall, let’s leave the kids clubs behind for a minute and head somewhere completely different…

The adults-only areas! 🍸🌊

Disney Cruise Line may be incredible for families, but Disney designed parts of the Wish specifically for guests 18 and older.

🌊 Quiet Cove
This adults-only area is the perfect escape on a sea day. You'll find an infinity pool overlooking the back of the ship, whirlpools, comfortable places to relax and Cove Café nearby for specialty coffee and drinks.

Imagine sitting in the infinity pool, looking out at nothing but the ocean behind you. THAT is vacation. 🌊

💆 Senses Spa & Salon
Need a little more relaxation? Head to Senses Spa, where you can book massages, facials, salon services and other treatments.

One of the highlights is the Rainforest, a relaxing thermal area featuring heated loungers and a variety of spaces designed to help you completely unplug. The Wish even introduced an outdoor relaxation area, so you can enjoy that spa experience with fresh air and ocean views.

It's a great option for a sea day—or while the kids are having the time of their lives in the Oceaneer Club!

🥩 Palo Steakhouse
One of the Wish's adults-only specialty restaurants, Palo Steakhouse combines the classic Palo experience with a modern steakhouse. The restaurant is inspired by Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast and is a fantastic option for brunch or a special dinner.

🌹 Enchanté
If you're looking for an elevated dining experience, this is it. Inspired by Lumière from Beauty and the Beast, Enchanté offers an elegant adults-only dining experience from three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement.

🥂 The Rose
Before dinner, stop at The Rose. This beautiful lounge sits between Palo and Enchanté and takes its inspiration from—you guessed it—the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast. It's also a pretty incredible place to enjoy a cocktail with an ocean view.

🍸 And there are plenty of other places to grab a drink.

The Wish has some really fun lounges, including Nightingale's, a sophisticated piano bar inspired by Cinderella's "Sing Sweet Nightingale," and The Bayou, inspired by The Princess and the Frog.

And that's something I love about the Disney Wish.

You can have as much—or as little—Disney as you want.

Spend the morning riding AquaMouse and meeting characters, then spend the afternoon relaxing at Quiet Cove or book a massage at Senses Spa. Have dinner with the family one night and make a reservation at Palo the next.

It's perfect for parents who want some adult time during a family vacation, a friends trip, or the Disney Adults who don't need kids as an excuse to sail with Mickey. 😂

🧒✨ **The Disney Wish Kids Clubs — And Why They’re About More Than Keeping Kids Busy** 🚢

As we continue exploring what makes the **Disney Wish** so special before she comes to **New York City next fall**, we have to talk about one of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise:

**The kids clubs.**

Yes, the spaces themselves are incredible. But after experiencing Disney Cruise Line with my own kids, I think there’s something even more important happening here.

**It gives kids a chance to build a little independence.**

I’ve talked about this before because it was something that really stood out to me on one of our cruises. Disney Cruise Line creates what I like to call **“controlled independence.”**

Kids get to make some decisions for themselves. What do I want to do? Where do I want to go? What activity sounds fun? Who do I want to hang out with?

They’re still in a safe, contained environment—but for some kids, it’s an opportunity to feel like the grown-ups aren't managing every minute of their day.

And the **Disney Wish** has some AMAZING places for them to explore.

🦸 **Marvel Super Hero Academy**
Kids can train alongside some of their favorite Marvel heroes and become part of their own superhero adventure.

🚀 **Star Wars: Cargo Bay**
A completely immersive Star Wars experience where kids become creature handlers and interact with some very familiar characters from a galaxy far, far away.

🏰 **Fairytale Hall**
A beautiful space inspired by Disney Princesses with areas dedicated to characters like Belle, Rapunzel and Anna & Elsa.

💡 **Walt Disney Imagineering Lab**
This might be one of my favorites. Kids get a glimpse into what Disney Imagineers do and can experiment with creating their own attractions.

And getting to the **Oceaneer Club** might be just as much fun as being there…

Kids can literally **SLIDE from the Grand Hall into the club!** 😂

For older kids, Disney hasn't forgotten about them either. **Edge** gives tweens their own space, while **Vibe** is designed specifically for teens.

But here's what I love most.

On a Disney Cruise, kids can start making those little decisions on their own.

Maybe they decide they want to stay at the club instead of going to dinner with Mom and Dad.

Maybe they make a new friend and meet back up later.

Maybe they look at the activities for the day and decide, **“That's what I want to do.”**

Those seem like little things.

But sometimes those little decisions are how kids start building **confidence and independence.**

And meanwhile…

Mom and Dad might suddenly realize they have time to head to the adults-only pool or enjoy a quiet drink together. 🍹😂

**That's part of the magic of a Disney Cruise too.**

We’ve explored the Grand Hall. We’ve talked about the food. Now, as we get ready for the **Disney Wish to come to New York City next fall**, let’s talk about another thing Disney Cruise Line does incredibly well…

**ENTERTAINMENT!** 🎭🎬✨

On the Disney Wish, entertainment is happening all around you—from Broadway-style shows to movies, characters and experiences you won’t find anywhere else.

🎭 **Walt Disney Theatre**
This beautiful theater is home to Broadway-style productions created specifically for Disney Cruise Line.

🧜‍♀️ **Disney The Little Mermaid**
A reimagining of the classic story created exclusively for the Disney Wish, featuring incredible sets, costumes, special effects and, of course, the songs we all know.

✨ **Disney Seas the Adventure**
Goofy discovers what it takes to become a great captain with a little help from Captain Minnie and characters from some of our favorite Disney and Pixar stories.

🧞 **Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular**
One of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line is being able to see a full theatrical production at sea. *Aladdin* brings the story, music, comedy and larger-than-life Genie to the Walt Disney Theatre.

🎬 **Movies at Sea**
Want to catch the latest Disney movie while you’re cruising? The Wish has two movie theaters—the **Wonderland Cinema and Never Land Cinema**—showing Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars films. Disney Cruise Line will even show select movies onboard **the same day they premiere in theaters on land!**

🏴‍☠️ **Pirate Night**
It wouldn’t be a Disney Cruise without pirates! Depending on your sailing, Pirate Night brings themed entertainment, characters, music and plenty of pirate fun to the ship.

🎆 And yes…**Disney Cruise Line is famous for fireworks at sea!** There is something pretty incredible about standing on the deck of a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean watching fireworks light up the sky.

👑 **Characters Everywhere!**
Mickey, Minnie, princesses and other Disney favorites make appearances throughout the cruise. And because you’re on a ship, character experiences can often feel much more relaxed than what you might be used to in the parks.

And that’s what makes entertainment on the Wish so much fun.

You can spend your evening watching a Broadway-style show, catch a movie, meet some characters, enjoy live music, join a deck party—or simply grab a drink and relax.

🍽️🚢 **Let’s Talk FOOD on the Disney Wish!** ✨

As we continue exploring the **Disney Wish** before she comes to **New York City next fall**, we have to talk about one of my favorite parts of any Disney Cruise—the FOOD!

One of the things I love about Disney Cruise Line is that dinner isn't just dinner. Disney uses **Rotational Dining**, which means your serving team travels with you each night as you rotate through three uniquely themed restaurants.

And on the Disney Wish, those restaurants are pretty incredible.

❄️ **Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure**
You're invited to a royal celebration in Arendelle! Dinner includes live music, entertainment and appearances from some familiar *Frozen* friends. It's part restaurant, part show and completely Disney.

🦸 **Worlds of Marvel**
Dinner meets the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This interactive dining experience puts you right in the middle of a Marvel adventure while enjoying a menu inspired by cuisines from around the world.

🌹 **1923**
Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 is a completely different experience. It's an elegant celebration of Disney animation, filled with artwork, sketches and pieces showcasing how some of our favorite Disney stories came to life.

But those are just your rotational dining restaurants!

🍕🌮🍗 **Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods** is the Wish's quick-service option on the pool deck, with pizza, burgers, barbecue, tacos, burritos and more. And yes—it's included!

🍦 And what's a Disney Cruise without grabbing some soft-serve at **Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream**?

Then there's **Marceline Market**, the Wish's main casual dining marketplace, with a huge variety of options for breakfast and lunch.

And if you're looking for something a little more special…

🥂 **Palo Steakhouse** combines the classic Palo experience with a steakhouse inspired by Cogsworth from *Beauty and the Beast*.

🌹 **Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement** is the Wish's upscale, adults-only dining experience inspired by Lumière. It's an incredible option for a special night onboard.

And we can't forget **room service**! There is something pretty great about ordering food and enjoying it from your stateroom or balcony while you're at sea. 🚢🌊

The theme of the Disney Wish is **enchantment**, and the Grand Hall brings that idea to life the moment you step onto the ship. Instead of feeling like a traditional cruise ship atrium, it feels like you’ve walked into a fairytale.

And if you’re a **Cinderella fan**, there are details everywhere. 👑

✨ At the base of the Grand Hall’s sweeping staircase is a beautiful **bronze statue of Cinderella**, accompanied by her little mouse friend **Lucifer—just kidding! It’s Jaq!** 🐭

👠 Look closely and you’ll find Cinderella’s iconic **glass slipper** incorporated into the Grand Hall.

🕰️ There are nods to the story throughout the space, from the elegant royal design to details inspired by Cinderella’s transformation and her unforgettable night at the ball.

💫 Above it all is the incredible **Wishing Star chandelier**, helping bring the Wish’s theme of dreams, wishes and enchantment together.

And one of my favorite Disney Cruise traditions happens right here. When your family first boards, **your family’s name is announced as you enter the Grand Hall.** It’s such a simple thing, but it makes that first moment onboard feel incredibly special.

I’m incredibly excited that **Disney Cruise Line is returning to New York City next fall!** There’s something special about having a Disney ship sailing right from our backyard—especially when that ship is the **Disney Wish**.

Every Disney Cruise Line ship is special and unique. Each one has its own personality, theming, restaurants, entertainment, and little details that make sailing on it a completely different experience.

Sandals Grenada was the perfect setting for reset and relaxing getaway.

Five days of doing nothing but relaxing, enjoying each other’s company, and soaking in one incredible island. No schedules. No rushing around. Just relaxing. And it was exactly what we needed!

But one of the things that impressed me most was the **staff at Sandals Grenada. They were truly 5-star.**

From the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic. Our concierge checked us in and gave us a tour of the resort on the way to our room, followed by a complete tour of the room itself.
The bartenders, room attendants, waitstaff — everyone we interacted with was wonderful. I was also really impressed by how visible the management team was throughout the resort.

They were constantly interacting with guests and making sure everyone was having an exceptional experience.
And getting there couldn't be much easier! ✈️

It’s a quick direct flight from JFK, and once you land in Grenada, **the resort is literally just minutes from the airport.** You can go from getting off the plane to starting your vacation incredibly quickly.

If your idea of a vacation is beautiful surroundings, great food, great service, a little luxury, and plenty of time to do absolutely NOTHING… **Sandals Grenada is hard to beat.** ❤️🌴🇬🇩
