Anyone and everyone who has had the the pleasure of enjoying Thornybush over the years, should not only be moved by this call for help...but should simply do it! A donation of $20 or $50 is a drop in the ocean for us, but literally a lifesaving gift to the community that has looked after TB's guests over the years. We will visit again and send visitors to the lodges, but until then....let's chip in and be generous.

Back in 2016 Anton Loggerenberg from Honeyguide Camp took this epic shot of tracker Eric Umbisi locking eyes with a curious lioness while on safari at Tintswalo Safari Lodge in the Manyeleti Game Reserve. Having been a tracker for almost a decade, Eric is fluent in the language of the bush and says he was not scared, he's 'known' the lioness since she was born and her body language was calm and relaxed. What an incredible moment it must have been to connect with the wild in such a way. When the time is right, come closer and experience the 'music' of nature for yourself.

Okay...it's been a while since we posted any news or packages to lust over. Whilst we all wait for life to get back to being regular.... I highly recommend you try tasting one of South Africa's most famous treats - Biltong! I have tried and tested many batches from various companies in the US - but have finally found one that matches how it is made and tastes like it does in South Africa.
