I love this photo. Not because we look pi**ed as rats. Because we were. But because we were taking a selfie after a night of dinner at a restaurant called the Luxor, which is within the palace, then drinking w**e and listening to music In The Palace afterwards. But that we were pi**ed as rats, taking a selfie with a Roman gladiator behind us! Not a real one, of course. A college student looking to make some cash. When I offered him and his Roman-gladiator counterpart 10 euros, he asked for 10 each! Cheeky bastard! But I gave it to them. Just college kids trying to make a living. 🇭🇷

Trogir. Just an hour outside of Split, this UNESCO world heritage site is located on an islet between the mainland and the island of Ciovo. There is a mixture of baroque, Romanesque , Gothic and Renaissance buildings within a grid. It was the setting for the city of Qarth in Game of Thrones. 🌴
