We are seeking one qualified applicant to join our team! The position is for one irrigation technician to work as a subcontractor, starting on March 1, 2020. Compensation will be 50% of the labor charge for each job.

-Irrigation 1&2 certifications
-A reliable vehicle that is capable of hauling supplies *and* a 35 gallon trash can for waste.
-Experience estimating and completing irrigation jobs.

Todays project was redoing a garden irrigation system for vegetables and a pomegranite bush. The client has a disability so we utilized soaker hoses for hassle free watering. This is also a good solution for people who are out of town a lot because the caps can blow off of some of the other more common emmitters available. Soaker hose is also better than laser line for garden beds when you want to plant seeds.
This simple set up is a perfect budget friendly solution for hassle free gardening all year. I can't wait to see the fruit on that pomegranite bush next year. They already told me I can show up with a bucket and $20. That way I can really taste the fruits of my labor. 😋😋😋

Good Morning Neighbors,
I thought I'd take some time to share a tip that might ease your frustrations a bit.

Everyone knows a dog is the best friend a human can have. Sometimes though, these little angels can wreak havoc on your irrigation system.

If your dog is constantly chewing your lines, a simple fix is to change your irrigation schedule so that the system only turns on when the dog is absolutely not outside until the puddles have dried. It does mean checking your system for leaks more often (because you won't see them either) but it works like 50% of the time. The doggos aren't really trying to cause trouble but they see a mud puddle with a chew stick in the middle and it's just too tempting.

If that does not work, a much more abrupt technique is to basically dump a whole bottle of black pepper in the area of concern. It will not hurt them but it will create enough of an irritant to make them stop....typically.
