Small mercearia’s throughout the Alentejo offer a moment to stop & soak up Portugals grounding energy and beautiful countryside.

The terrain surrounding Evora is defined by the tranquility. Ranches and cattle, fields filled with poppies & massive cork forests along the way.

2 weeks Castelo Ventoso Country Estate - an incredible trip for non riding partners, rent a gravel bike if needed, experience Portugals incredible w**e culture.

It was an honor to fill the house Masut Da Rive - tasting their beautiful w**es from Friuli’s Isonzo region. We’re grateful for the friendship with Silvano and his family & the world class hospitality they shared with our guests.

The roads throughout the Carso have been fantastic, while Chef Zander Ault continues to share his passion for the family style, simple beauty of Italian home cooking.

The crew enjoyed an arrival lunch at the Vinegar House before diving right into the good stuff! Tracing a route through the Collio w**e region and along the Slovenia border.

Sommelier Mitja Sirk kicked off the evening with an amazing w**e tasting before our family dinner at sunset.

Fresh off our Slovenia Gravel scout trip, it feels so good to settle into life at La Subida Country Resort and the beautiful life we get to experience in Cormons and throughout the Friuli Region.

The roads, the food, the people, it’s all top notch here. We’ve got a stellar week ahead.

Once in a while a destination opens its doors & shows you something magical. Days in Bohinj are consumed by riding through river valleys & up and over forested ridge lines. Road conditions are impressive with grades appealing to all riding abilities - welcoming those new to climbing mountains or interested in renting an e-gravel bike for the week.

A quick glimpse into Slovenia Gravel 2027. Excitement was high coming into this scout mission, but the landscape, lake Bohinj, the mountains, and all around vibe of Slovenia’s outdoors is more than we could have imagined.

4 more days of scouting, drinking mountain water, lake swimming, and high alpine adventure continue. Slovenia Gravel 2027 launches live on our website, September 10th, 2026. ✌️
