Gelato, beautiful hikes, palaces, delicious food…we have loved Split, Croatia!

Tomorrow we board our yacht and start island hopping!

Croatia has over 1,000 islands, and we are about to explore some of the most famous ones!

This weekend we celebrated Father’s Day and London’s 13th birthday on the lake at Pickwick. It was such a fun weekend, and I’m glad we got to share part of Saturday with my parents.

My mom spent many years here with her family, but this was my first time ever staying in this corner of the world. We ate some delicious food, enjoyed beautiful views, and even got to get be out on the lake one afternoon. I cannot wait to do it again!

We celebrated Mother’s Day Weekend with London’s ballroom dance recital. And this weekend we have the boys’ piano recital coming up. May is always a busy month, but as far as school goes…we are already in summer mode!

We had a wonderful afternoon visiting with so many beautiful brides yesterday at the New Albany Gazette Bridal Show!

And is just a stunning backdrop for a wedding.

Yesterday we went to the Tupelo Cherry Blossom Festival that was moved indoors because of the weather. But since we knew it would not be at Ballard Park this year, on Friday afternoon we took a walk in the cherry blossoms before the rain came in. The wind was building up so the blossoms made it look like it was snowing! 🌸

Memphis Botanic Gardens had their annual Cherry Blossom Festival, and the weather was perfection! We participated in a tea ceremony and tried kimchi for the first time.
