I saw the "rollout" on the Department of State website and it's an absolute NO! Check your passport expiration date and you may need to renew earlier to avoid a person's face throughout the document. Its a 10 year document so its important.

Get Repost App • Travel Noire Your passport might be about to get a new face, and not everyone is thrilled 🛂👀
A preview of the redesigned 2028 US passport, called the "Flight of the Eagle," appeared during a State Department livestream, and eagle-eyed viewers spotted what looks like Trump's portrait among its pages. The State Department hasn't confirmed whether the image will make the final version. If you'd rather not wait to find out, you can renew by mail before the rollout, as long as your 10-year passport was issued within the past 15 years and is in good condition.
Head to travelnoire.com for the full renewal guide and eligibility requirements.

Today is World Mental Health Day, and I want to ask my planners something.

When was the last time YOU actually rested? Not a day off to run errands. Real rest.
As a travel advisor, I see it all the time. The woman organizing the whole family trip is usually the one who needs it most... and enjoys it least, because she’s still working the whole time.

That’s exactly why I do what I do. You plan for everybody else. Let me plan this one for you because 2027 is wide open. Click the link in the comments to submit a travel form.

And if you’re going through it right now, please reach out to someone. Call or text 988 any time. No trip replaces real support.

Your thoughts? Tag a friend who needs this reminder. IJS.
Signed, TDE Travels

Have you ever had a trip changed by a storm or in general?
As a Certified Cruise Counselor, we are watching Isaias with everybody else this week.
Here's what most people don't know. Once a storm has a name, most trip insurance policies won't cover it if you buy after that. Coverage has to be in place before the storm shows up.
That's why we tell every client the same thing with TDE Travels: buy your insurance when you put your deposit down.
And when a storm does change your plans, you shouldn't be on hold with the cruise line by yourself. That's what we are here for as your travel advisor.

Please stay safe this weekend.

“Life doesn't come with a manual; it comes with a mother.” — Unknown
Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, godmothers, mothers in love and mother figures. To all of you who are fortunate enough to still have their mothers on this side, show them some extra love. For those whose mothers are with the ancestors, we are sending you hugs of peace, comfort and may the lessons your mother taught you be with you always.

Here are some resources if you booked on Spirit Airlines and had a pending flight. If you aren't able to rebook, call your credit card company and dispute the charge if you are unable to get a refund. Hopefully this will help someone out, and act fast!
