We’ve made a small change behind the scenes—here’s what you need to know.

You may have noticed updates, name changes, or duplicate pages recently. As part of a transition in regional tourism leadership, the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is now officially managing the regional tourism efforts.

That means we’ve been working to bring everything under one roof so it’s easier for you to find accurate, up-to-date information about events, places to visit, and things to do across Southern Idaho.

You may have followed or interacted with multiple pages in the past, moving forward will be the official source for all things tourism in Southern Idaho. (This was our old Tourism Focused page that we are happy to share we have the keys to again, finally!)

Please follow Visit Southern Idaho as this page is scheduled for deletion.

Thank you to our friends at Local Freshies for visiting Southern Idaho and writing this article about our Twin Falls area Mountain Biking experiences!

"More than anything, Twin Falls shines as a true outdoor adventure basecamp, where you can pedal canyon singletrack in the morning, paddle the Snake River in the afternoon, and still catch sunset over the rim. It’s not just a riding destination, it’s a launch point for a full spectrum Idaho adventure."

Step into millions of years of history right here in Southern Idaho.

Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse in 2026 with a series of special programs highlighting the connection between ancient horse fossils found in Idaho and similar discoveries in China, along with the rich history of Chinese communities in our region.

From monthly presentations to unique artifact displays at the Thousand Springs Visitor Center, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and experience this incredible piece of our shared history.

Make plans to visit, attend a program, and see why this area continues to be a place of discovery.

Every year, in late May to early June the valley floor in Camas County turns brilliant blue.

The camas lilies are blooming — and one of the best places to witness this incredible early-summer display is at Camas Prairie Centennial Marsh Wildlife Management Area near Fairfield.

For thousands of years, these same camas plants sustained Native American communities who lived in this region. Today, the marsh offers a breathtaking combination of wildflower vistas and vibrant birdlife.

🦆 3,100 acres of protected wetlands
🌸 Rolling fields of blue camas
🐦 Thousands of birds calling the marsh home

The marsh fills early in the year and is typically dry by mid-July — so timing matters. If you want to experience one of Idaho’s most stunning seasonal sights, late May to early June is the time.

Plan your trip to see the bloom:
