We're excited to share some information about a unique local attraction: the shipwreck located near Neshotah Beach. It's approximately 300 feet from shore in 7 to 10 feet of water, making it one of a handful of nearshore shipwrecks you can easily paddle over and see firsthand.

The Sullivan Family Farm Farm Food Stand is today from 9:00am to 11:00am.

The Two Rivers Senior Center has arranged to have this farm stand available this summer. Find it at the 17th St. entrance to the Senior Center.

The stand accepts WIC, SNAP, and Senior Farmers Market Vouchers. Qualifying individuals can even get a free ride in the TRUST car (rides must be scheduled one week in advance).

Call the Senior Center at 920.793.5596 with questions or to schedule a ride.

Time is running out to sign up as a "Trail Magic" business for the Ice Age Trail Alliance's Mammoth Hike Challenge this October. The Trail Magic registration deadline is August 20, 2025.

This free promotion is a fantastic way to increase foot traffic (specifically, hiking traffic) to your business. Mammoth Hike Challenge participants love experiencing new communities while hiking, whether it's through a "buy a beer, get a beer" offer or a special discount. The Ice Age Trail Alliance anticipates 10,000 hikers this year throughout the month of October.

Write-Ins At Woodland Dunes on Wednesday, August 20 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.

Join writers Peggy Turnbull and Tara Huck of Fresh Water Press for time dedicated to creativity. We’ll look at a poem or two by Jean Biegun from her book, Waking Up at Woodland Dunes, then walk outside to discover what the Dunes landscape has to say to us. We’ll write for most of the session and share our work with each other at the end (only if you want). Bring paper, a notebook or sketch pad, and your favorite writing implement.
Peggy Turnbull is the author of Where Sweetness Falls with the Rain and The Joy of Their Holiness. Tara Huck is the author of Just a Stop Along the Way and Stress Fracture. Along with Tracey Koach, they are the co-founders and editors of the Fresh Water Press.

Lake Michigan Fishing Tournament this Saturday, August 16, 2025 starting at 12:01AM.

Competitors must register at the club between 5 and 8 p.m. Friday at the Westshore Sportsmans Club, Two Rivers, WI

$50 per boat and $5 per person. Prize structure: catch the first, second, third and fourth biggest fish in each five species. $1,000 grand prize; $500 to the runner-up.

Fishing can commence at 12:01 a.m. Saturday. Weigh-in starts at noon, and anglers must be in line by 1 p.m.

Club opens to the public at 10 a.m. with cold refreshments, plus raffles. Lunch is ready at noon. For information, call Mike Krizizke at (920)860-0754.
