Planning a Trip to Neshotah Beach? Stay Informed Before You Swim!

Your safety is important to us. Before heading into the water, be sure to check current beach conditions, water quality advisories, and hazard notifications.

Neshotah Beach features the SwimSmart Beach Alert System, which provides real-time beach hazard information from the National Weather Service using a color-coded light system:

🔴 Red – High Hazard: Strong currents and/or high waves. Stay out of the water.
🟡 Yellow – Medium Hazard: Moderate risk. Children and weak swimmers should stay out of the water. Life jackets are strongly recommended.
🟢 Green – Low Hazard: Generally calm conditions, but always use caution.
⚪ No Lights: Does not indicate safe conditions. Always check the latest forecast.

• Pierce St. & Zlatnik Dr.
• Along Neshotah Beach
• North Pier near the Coast Guard Station
