Happy New Year from Sea Kayak Georgia ✨

As we welcome the New Year, we’re also celebrating something deeply meaningful to us — 20 years paddling the tidal waters of Coastal Georgia.

For two decades, these creeks, sounds, and barrier islands have been our classroom and our constant teacher. We’ve learned the language of tides and wind, watched seasons turn through bird migrations and marsh grasses, and come to know this coast not as scenery, but as a living, breathing system.

Every trip has been an act of attention — to weather, water, wildlife, and to the people who join us in moving quietly through these places.

As we step into a new year, we invite you to paddle with us — to slow down, to notice more, and to deepen your connection to this remarkable coast. Whether you’ve been with us before or are joining us for the first time, there is always more to learn, more to see, and more to share.

We are grateful beyond words — for this place, for our community, and for 20 years of shared journeys along the Georgia coast.

Sea Kayak Georgia Skills Symposium & Ocean Gathering
Oct 19-21 Reunion with Nigel Dennis
Sea Kayak Georgia will be hosting Nigel Dennis on his return trip to our symposium on Tybee Island and surrounding waters. Nigel will be back for a special paddling and instruction reunion. Nigel together with Sea Kayak Georgia will be running advanced strokes skills in flat water classes designed for those wanting to move to rougher water and intermediate and above rough water skills training.�
The style offered: �In flatwater: advanced strokes and maneuvers, rescues and towing, leadership training.
�In rough water: intermediate and advanced boat control to include sea kayak surfing.
