The next day was a big one... Maloree turned 18! 🎂🏰✨

After years of Disney trips together, she officially became a Disney adult while at Disney World, which feels pretty fitting if you ask me. 😂💖

We spent her birthday at Magic Kingdom, taking lots of pictures, making memories, and celebrating this exciting new chapter. There was something extra special about watching her walk down Main Street as an official adult while still getting just as excited about Disney magic as she did when she was little.

As a mom, it's hard to believe she's 18. As a Disney fan, I can't think of a better place to celebrate.

Happy Birthday, Maloree! Thanks for still being willing to take pictures with your mom and spend your birthday making Disney memories with me. 💕✨🏰

Next stop: the galaxy. 🌌✨

To wrap up our first park day, we made our way into Galaxy's Edge for a reservation at Oga's Cantina.

If Oga's is on your Disney bucket list, my biggest tip is to make a reservation as early as possible. It's one of the most popular lounges in Hollywood Studios, and walk-up availability can be hit or miss. (I do this if you book with me!)

The atmosphere is what makes this place so special. From the moment you step inside, it feels like you've left Disney World and landed on Batuu. The music, lighting, and themed drinks make it one of the most immersive experiences in the parks.

We shared the Batuu Bits and we ordered a couple of Carbon Freezes. The Carbon Freeze is definitely one of those drinks you order more for the experience than anything else—the bubbling foam and presentation are half the fun! 🍹

Even if you're not the biggest Star Wars fan, I'd still recommend stopping by at least once. It's one of those experiences that's hard to fully appreciate until you're standing inside.

The perfect ending to our first park day. ✨

After a fun morning at Epcot, we made our way over to Hollywood Studios to squeeze in a few of our favorites before the day was over. 🎬✨

We managed to fit in:
🚀 Rise of the Resistance
🚁 Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
🧸 Toy Story Mania
🐶 Slinky Dog Dash

Every single one of these is a must-do for us, but Rise of the Resistance continues to impress me every time. The scale, technology, and storytelling are unlike anything else at Walt Disney World.

We also hopped aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and tried our hand at flying the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. No promises were made about how successful our mission was. 😂

Of course, we couldn't leave without a ride on Slinky Dog Dash, and Toy Story Mania is always a favorite for a little friendly competition.

One of the biggest benefits of Park Hopper tickets is being able to spend the morning in one park and still have plenty of time to hit your favorite attractions somewhere else later in the day.

But our Hollywood Studios adventure wasn't over yet...

Time for Park #2! 🎬✨

After a fun morning at Epcot, we hopped aboard the Skyliner and headed to Hollywood Studios.

One of my favorite things about Disney transportation is that getting there is part of the experience. We loved taking in the views from above and seeing the resorts, waterways, and parks from a completely different perspective. 🚠

The Skyliner has become one of our favorite ways to travel around Walt Disney World. It's efficient, fun, and gives you some amazing views along the way.

Before we knew it, we were arriving at Hollywood Studios and getting ready for an evening filled with some of our favorite attractions. 🎢✨

Next up: the rides that made our Hollywood Studios night!

Before we wrapped up our morning at Epcot, we slowed things down with a couple of attractions that are easy to overlook but definitely worth your time. 💙🌎

First up was Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. 🌊

This is such a beautiful walk-through experience, especially on a hot day. The interactive water features are fun, the landscaping is gorgeous, and it's a great chance to take a break from standing in ride lines. Plus, there are lots of photo opportunities throughout!

We also spent some time exploring the aquarium at The Seas with Nemo & Friends. 🐠
I feel like this is one of Epcot's hidden gems. After the ride, you can wander through one of the largest aquariums in the United States and see everything from sea turtles and sharks to dolphins and manatees.

It's air-conditioned, relaxing, and a great place to slow down for a bit before jumping back into the excitement of the parks.

After a morning full of rides, snacks, and Flower & Garden Festival fun, it was time to hop aboard the Skyliner and head to our second park of the day... 🎢✨

Let's talk snacks! 🌸🍿🥨🍦

Since it was the final day of the Flower & Garden Festival, we made it our mission to sample a few treats while exploring Epcot.

Here's what we tried:

🥨 Jumbo Pretzel with Cheese
A Disney classic. Warm, salty, and exactly what you expect it to be. Sometimes the simple snacks are the best snacks!

🍁 Maple Popcorn from the Canada Pavilion
If you've never tried it, put it on your list. The sweet maple flavor is so good, and it's one of those snacks that sounds a little strange until you find yourself reaching for handful after handful. Tip- bring a ziplock bag for the leftover so you can keep it!

🌮 Nachos from the Mexico Pavilion
These were loaded, flavorful, and definitely big enough to share.

🍦 Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar
Is it a Disney trip if you don't have a Mickey bar? I don't make the rules. 😂 This is one snack we get every single trip.

If I had to rank them:
🥇 Mexico Nachos
🥈 Maple Popcorn
🥉 Pretzel with Cheese
🏅 Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

One of the things I love most about Epcot is that you can snack your way around the world while exploring. It's basically a food crawl disguised as a theme park, and I'm not mad about it. 😆

What's your must-have Epcot snack? 👇

One of my favorite things about Disney is all the little details and unexpected magical moments. ✨

Since it was the last day of the Flower & Garden Festival, Epcot was looking especially beautiful that morning. We spent some time exploring the World Showcase and made our way to the Mexico pavilion, which is always one of our favorites.

Of course, we had to ride Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros! 🇲🇽🎶 When we were on the ride, we noticed our MagicBands were glowing in the colors of the Mexican flag. ❤️🤍💚 It made for such a fun photo and one of those little Disney moments that makes you smile.

We also stopped to meet Figment, which is pretty much a requirement when we're at Epcot. 💜

And of course, no Epcot day would be complete without riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. If you've followed me for any length of time, you know this is my favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World! 🚀✨ The music, the storytelling, the ride system... Disney absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. I could ride it over and over and never get tired of it.

Sometimes it's not one big moment that makes a Disney day special; it's all the little experiences that add up to create the magic. ✨🏰

First park day! 🏰✨

One thing you'll notice about most of my Disney trips is that we almost always purchase Park Hopper tickets, and I highly recommend them if they're within your budget.

We love the flexibility of being able to start our day in one park and end it in another. Sometimes it's because we have dining reservations elsewhere, sometimes we're chasing lower wait times, and sometimes we just want to ride a favorite attraction one more time before heading back to the resort.

For this trip, we started at Epcot because it was the final day of the Flower & Garden Festival! 🌸🌿

Even though we knew we'd be hopping to another park later in the day, we wanted to spend some time enjoying the festival booths, seasonal snacks, and all the beautiful topiaries before they disappeared for the year.

Park Hoppers give us the freedom to do exactly that... experience special events, hit our must-do attractions, and still spend the evening somewhere completely different.

Next up: some of our favorite Epcot moments from the morning! ✨

Last post from our arrival day! ✨

One of the first things we did after checking in was pick up our refillable resort mugs. They were $22.99 each and, for us, they're absolutely worth it every trip. The mugs can be refilled at any Disney resort self-service beverage station throughout your stay, so we use them constantly for Powerade and vitamin water in the morning, sodas throughout the day on our off days, and a drink before bed. If you're staying several days, they usually pay for themselves pretty quickly!

Since we weren't quite ready to call it a night, we hopped on a bus to Hollywood Studios and then took the Skyliner over to Pop Century just to explore and spend some time in the arcade. One of my favorite things about Disney is that transportation is free, so resort hopping can be a fun activity all by itself! 🚍🚠

When we got back to All-Star Movies, we grabbed dinner at the World Premiere Food Court.

Maloree's go-to is always the pasta with meatballs and Alfredo sauce, while I'm a creature of habit and ordered the kids' chicken tenders. 🍝🍗

Travel agent tip: Don't overlook Disney's kids meals! If you're a lighter eater, they're often a great value. Most come with a side and a drink, and the portion is usually plenty for me.

Since I already have my refillable mug, I skip the fountain drink and choose bottled water instead. I toss it in the fridge overnight and take it to the parks the next morning, which saves both time and money during the day. 💧

Not a bad way to wrap up our first day at Disney! 🏰✨
