Disney Cruise Line is making a major change to its adult-exclusive dining experiences!

Beginning October 22, 2026, Palo, Palo Steakhouse, and Palo Trattoria will begin transitioning away from their prix-fixe dinner menus and moving toward à la carte dining!

What does this mean?

Instead of paying a set price for a multi-course dinner, guests will be able to order individual dishes from the menu.

HERE’S WHEN THE CHANGES TAKE EFFECT:

🚢 October 22: Disney Wonder
🚢 October 23: Disney Fantasy, Dream & Wish
🚢 October 24: Disney Magic, Treasure & Destiny
🚢 October 26: Disney Adventure

WHAT ABOUT PLATINUM & PEARL CASTAWAY CLUB MEMBERS?

Good news! Your $55 per person dining credit isn’t going anywhere!

Eligible Platinum and Pearl members, along with guests staying in the same stateroom, can continue using their $55 credit toward à la carte dinner selections.

A few things to remember:
🍷 Beverages and gratuities are not included.
🍽️ Any amount exceeding the $55 credit is your responsibility.
☀️ This benefit applies to DINNER ONLY, not brunch.

Disney has not yet shared the full updated menus or individual pricing, so it will be interesting to see how this change affects the overall dining experience.

A little something NEW is coming to Toy Story Land!

Starting September 25, Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a new soundtrack!

Lilypad, the frog-shaped smart tablet from Toy Story 5, is joining the backyard as the new DJ.

The new music will include remixed Toy Story favorites like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” plus brand-new songs created just for the attraction, including one about Pizza Planet.

And you don’t even have to ride to hear it! Lilypad will be DJing throughout the area with music, games, puzzles and appearances from some familiar Toy Story friends.

Did you know your kids can go to the kids club while you’re on Disney Castaway Cay?

Yep! The kids club comes with you onto the island!

Scuttle’s Cove is Disney Castaway Cay’s youth club for kids ages 3–10, and it’s included in your Disney Cruise fare.

Think of it as the island version of the Oceaneer Club onboard the ship. The kids can check in and hang out with Disney Youth Counselors for supervised activities while you get a little time to enjoy Castaway Cay on your own.

And you know what that means…

You can head over to Serenity Bay, Disney’s adults-only beach, grab a drink, sit by the water and actually RELAX for a little bit. 😂
One thing I really like about Scuttle’s Cove is that there’s no ocean access from inside the club. The kids stay in the supervised activity area while they’re checked in.

We LOVE Disney Cruise Line as a family, but I also love that Disney gives parents opportunities like this to have a little vacation time of their own too.

Definitely something to keep in mind for your next stop at Castaway Cay! 🏝️🚢
