Well... that's a wrap. ✨🏰💙

What started as a birthday/graduation trip somehow turned into one of my favorite Disney vacations yet.

We celebrated an 18th birthday, a high school graduation, and the end of one chapter before the start of another. We rode our favorites, tried a few new things, stayed out way too late, ate plenty of Disney snacks, and made memories I'll never forget.

As much as I love Disney, my favorite part was getting this uninterrupted time with Maloree before she heads off to college.
Life is about to look a little different, and I'm so thankful we got this time together.

On our last morning, we did what any proper Disney trip requires; we grabbed one more plate of Mickey waffles before hitting the road. 🧇🐭 It felt like the perfect way to end the trip.

My camera roll is full, my feet are tired, and my heart is happy.

Until next time, Disney. Thanks for helping us celebrate such a special season of life. 💙✨🏰

This is how we spent our last full day before making the drive back to Texas. 💙✨

After over a week of parks, fireworks, rides, and nonstop fun, we traded the hustle for a slower pace and simply enjoyed being at Disney.

We started the day with a round of mini golf at Fantasia Gardens, wandered around the BoardWalk shops, relaxed by the pool, roasted marshmallows at the resort campfire, and squeezed in a few arcade games. We even treated ourselves to massages at the end of the night; our feet had definitely earned them after all those park miles. 😅

One thing I've learned over the years is that not every Disney day has to be spent in the parks. Some of the best memories come from the slower moments, the ones where you can just enjoy the atmosphere, soak it all in, and spend time together without rushing to the next ride.

It was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable trip before packing our bags and heading home the next morning. 🏰✨

One tip for anyone staying at a Disney Resort: be sure to look through your "Magical Extras" when you check in!

They're easy to overlook, but they often include things like mini golf, discounts on dining and entertainment, and other fun perks around Walt Disney World.

One of our Magical Extras was a complimentary round of mini golf at Fantasia Gardens, so on our second resort day we decided to check it out. After several busy park days, it was the perfect way to slow down and enjoy something different.

The Fantasia theme is adorable, and the course is beautiful!

Sometimes it's nice to step away from the parks for a few hours and experience another side of Disney.

This wasn't originally on our trip plan, but it ended up being one of our favorite non-park activities of the week. 💙⛳✨

One of our favorite experiences from the trip was the Post-Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom. ✨🎆🍰

If you've never done one before, here's how it works:

About an hour before Happily Ever After, we checked in at Tomorrowland Terrace and received wristbands for the event. Guests 21+ received green wristbands for access to the all-inclusive beer and wine offerings, while guests under 21 received red wristbands.

After check-in, we were escorted to a reserved grassy viewing area in the hub in front of Cinderella Castle. The view was absolutely incredible, close enough to feel immersed in the show but without the stress of staking out a spot hours in advance or being packed into the crowds.

We watched Happily Ever After from our reserved area, and once the fireworks ended, Cast Members escorted us back to Tomorrowland Terrace for the dessert party itself.

The timing couldn't have been better. While thousands of guests were heading toward the exits, we were relaxing with desserts, drinks, and a much calmer atmosphere. It was the perfect way to wind down after a busy park day.

An unexpected bonus was what happened afterward. By the time we finished enjoying the dessert buffet, Magic Kingdom had officially closed. That gave us the chance to take some of our favorite photos of the entire trip with nearly empty walkways and the castle glowing in the background. 🏰✨

Between the amazing fireworks view, the desserts and drinks, and those late-night castle photos after the park closed, this ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our vacation. Definitely a splurge, but one we're so glad we did! 💙✨🍰🎆

One last Disney park day. ✨🏰

Started at Magic Kingdom, made a quick Epcot detour for our favorite nachos (because some traditions are non-negotiable 🌮), then headed back to Magic Kingdom to soak in every last bit of the magic.

The rides, the snacks, the laughs, the memories... and somehow it still never feels like enough.

One of the highlights of our Hollywood Studios day was finally getting to use our Fantasmic Dining Package! 🚗✨🎆

We chose Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant for our dining package meal and had lunch there earlier in the day.

If you've never been, guests are seated in classic cars while vintage sci-fi movie clips play on the big screen. It's one of the most unique dining experiences at Walt Disney World and always a fun choice.

One question I get a lot is how the Fantasmic Dining Package works.

When you book a participating restaurant, your meal includes a voucher for reserved seating at Fantasmic later that evening.

Instead of waiting in the regular standby line, you'll enter through a separate queue and sit in a designated section reserved for dining package guests.

For us, it was nice knowing our seats were already taken care of so we could enjoy the rest of our day without worrying about when to get in line.

And Fantasmic absolutely delivered. ✨

The music, characters, water effects, projections, fireworks, and of course Mickey facing off against the villains make it one of my favorite nighttime shows at Walt Disney World.

The next day, we found ourselves back at Hollywood Studios. 🎬✨

At this point, it was becoming clear that this was one of our favorite parks of the trip. 😂

We spent the morning riding some of our favorites, and of course we had to stop and meet Sulley. 💙

One of my favorite quick-service meals at Walt Disney World is the Ronto Wrap, so that made another appearance as well. If you've never tried one, add it to your list!

We also hopped back on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and this time got "Walking on Sunshine" as our soundtrack. 🎸☀️

I may or may not have been singing it for the rest of the day.

And since we were already talking Muppets and music, I somehow ended up bringing home a Kermit plush. 🐸😂

We also spent some time in Walt Disney Presents checking out concept art and previews of some of the exciting projects Disney has in the works. I always enjoy seeing a little behind-the-scenes look at what's coming next.

In true Park Hopper fashion, we even made a quick trip over to EPCOT to pick up our engraved perfumes and grab some nachos before heading back to Hollywood Studios for the evening.

Because apparently we don't know how to stay in just one park. 😂🏰

Another great souvenir we picked up on this trip was something we'll actually use long after the vacation is over. ✨💛

While we were in the France pavilion at EPCOT, Maloree and I both purchased J'adore perfume from Plume et Palette and had our bottles engraved.

One of the best parts? The engraving is complimentary! ✨

It was such a fun way to personalize our perfumes and turn them into a special keepsake from the trip. We both chose the same fragrance, which makes it even more meaningful.

I love finding souvenirs that aren't just going to sit on a shelf.

Every time we wear J'adore, we'll be reminded of our Disney trip, Maloree's 18th birthday celebration, and all the adventures we had together.
