Please stop making this mistake when planning a Walt Disney World vacation:
❌ Scheduling every single minute ❌
I know it’s tempting to pack as much magic as possible into your trip, but Disney vacations aren’t meant to be a race.
I promise you. Everyone needs at least a little bit of down time during the trip because overstimulation is real. Even for adults! 😆
Your resort isn’t just where you crash at night. It’s part of the vacation.
My advice is to always schedule in a resort day. Sleep in. Enjoy the pool. Explore the grounds. Grab that extra coffee. Take part in the resort’s daily activities. Watch for characters to pop up! Let the kids play.
When families try to go nonstop, everyone ends up exhausted and honestly stressed. But when you build in time to breathe, the entire trip feels more enjoyable.
And here’s the funny thing…
After spending thousands on theme parks, many kids will still tell you their favorite memory was swimming at the resort pool. Go figure! It’s probably because everyone was relaxed.
Slow down. I promise that the parks will still be there tomorrow.
