Great day at Pine Haven Farms. Beautiful late fall day. Perfect weather to get some work done. Bringing in hay for the cattle. 35 more rolls tomorrow and we should have enough for the winter.

I just love watching and especially listening to cows eat. It is such a relaxing sound. Their hair is starting to get long for winter. These 20 angus heifers will be bred in the spring and their calves will become our next offering of freezer beef. We would love to have you book a stay at the farm where you can enjoy the gorgeous fall colors and even help feed the cows and chickens while you are here.

don’t know if the corn is as high as an elephants eye, but the grass is as high as a heifers rump! These heifers have gained nearly 300 pounds in the 100 days they have been on Pine Haven Farms!
