ATV riding in Marienville!

Here are the times and locations to register for the Spring Tour de Forest 5-17 & 5-18. There will be signs and fire police to direct you if needed. Registration cost this year is $50 per machine and $10 per passenger. Your band will cover you for both Saturday & Sunday! All prereg packets were mailed last week! Thank you all very much!

Cook Forest is beautiful!!

Cook Forest State Park boasts four notable record holding trees.
1. Tallest known tree in Pennsylvania-170 ft. tall white pine.
2. Seneca Hemlock – tallest known Eastern hemlock in the Northeast at 12.5 ft. CBH (circumference breast height) x 148.1 ft. tall.
3. Susquehannock Hemlock – largest known Eastern hemlock by volume in the Northeast at 13.8 ft. CBH x 135 ft. tall at 12,432 board ft. of wood.
4. Davies Black Cherry – tallest known black cherry in the Northeast at 12.1 ft. CBH x 143.1 ft. tall and also the largest known forest grown single stem black cherry in the state. Photo by Emma Kemmer.
