On the final day of our epic 10 day tour across and around Scotland we spent this morning with a bit of free time and a visit to The Real Mary King’s Close - a fascinating step back in time. Unfortunately due to the nature of and the age of the site no photography was permitted.

We did snap a few random shots …. And are now headed to The Royal Yacht Britinnia for a tour before heading to our final distillery stop.

The day comes to a close with a fine walk around Edinburgh Castle and a rousting visit to the Lime & Lind Gin Distillery...

Great end of the day …. A tour of Tennents Brewery. The number 1 selling beer and the second most ordered beverage in the country - second only to Im bru (a Scottish soda). A fascinating experience finished off with a pint of unpasteurized lager that has never been bottled. Delicious.
