Sooo if you’ve ever been to Taboo in Tulum or any of their sister locations just know that Savi Beach Club is NOT that kind of beach club. 😝
Don’t expect people dancing on tables, waving white towels or a nonstop party atmosphere. Savi is much more laid-back, relaxed, and peaceful. Now, don’t get me wrong, it has its own vibe, and it’s a good one. It’s just a completely different experience.😉
When we arrived, music was playing, and as we were getting ready to leave, the saxophonist was just starting his set. So I can’t really speak on whether the energy picks up later in the day, if there’s a DJ on certain days, or if it turns into more of a party atmosphere. We got there right when they opened at 11 a.m., so we experienced more of the calm, chill side of the beach club.
Also, keep in mind that Savi isn’t open every day so check their schedule before making plans.
Since we took the ferry to Anguilla, we had to work around the ferry departure times, which honestly made the day feel a little rushed. By the time we had settled in, finished eating, enjoyed our drinks, and were finally getting comfortable enough to just relax it was already time to leave for our next stop to explore some of Anguilla’s popular attractions.😩
If I could do it again, I would absolutely stay overnight in Anguilla. That would allow you to spend a half day at Savi then enjoy the rest of the island at your own pace. Or, I’d even consider going later in the afternoon to see if the atmosphere changes as the day goes on.
The menu is definitely on the pricier side, but I will say the food was worth it. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the drinks, however, can add up quickly.
Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing beach day with good food, beautiful views, and a more upscale, peaceful atmosphere, Savi Beach Club is definitely worth experiencing. 🫶🏾
