🏝️ What does your Perfect Day look like?

One of the things I love about Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay is that your day can look completely different depending on how you like to vacation.

🌊 Want some adventure? Thrill Waterpark is available for an additional fee and gives you a full day of waterslides and thrills.

🏖️ Prefer a laid-back beach day? Head over to Chill Island, find a chair, put your toes in the sand and relax. This is one of the areas you can enjoy without purchasing an additional pass.

🍹 Traveling without the kids and want an adults-only experience? Hideaway Beach is an additional-fee area with its own beach, pools, food and music.

✨ Want something a little more elevated? Coco Beach Club is another additional-fee option with beach access, an infinity pool and those gorgeous overwater cabanas.

And here’s something I think is important to know before you go: you do NOT have to spend extra money to have a great day at CocoCay. There are beaches, pools, loungers, food and plenty to do that are already included with your cruise fare. The paid areas simply give you more options depending on the type of day you want.

That’s one of the things I love about CocoCay—you can keep it simple, make it adventurous, go adults-only or splurge on something a little extra. ☀️

There’s Disney magic…and then there’s Disney at Christmastime. 🎄✨

Main Street, U.S.A. decorated for the holidays. Christmas music playing. A larger-than-life tree greeting you as you enter the park. And yes—even “snow” falling on Main Street during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. ❄️🏰

But the holiday magic isn't only at Magic Kingdom.

🎄 Hear the Christmas story told by a celebrity narrator accompanied by a full orchestra and choir during EPCOT's Candlelight Processional.

🐧 See Discovery Island come to life with the beautiful artisan-sculpted winter animal puppets of the Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom.

🏨 Take some time away from the parks to see the incredible gingerbread displays and holiday decorations at the Disney Resorts.

And on select nights November 8–December 22, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party brings even more holiday fun to Magic Kingdom, including special entertainment, characters, cookies and cocoa.

There is still resort availability for this holiday season, and you may be able to save up to 20% on select Disney Resort rooms on qualifying dates.

🏇 Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort — one you may be overlooking

If you’re looking for a Disney resort that feels a little quieter after a busy day in the parks, Saratoga Springs is definitely one to keep on your radar.

We stayed here for one night before our Disney Cruise, and I was reminded just how pretty and peaceful this resort really is. It has a relaxed, horse-racing-inspired feel, beautiful grounds, multiple pools and plenty of space to spread out.

And when I say plenty of space… this is a VERY large resort! 😅

For a little perspective, it took me about 10 minutes to walk from the pool back to our room. We were, however, in a great location for Disney Springs—the entrance was only about a 5–7 minute walk from our room.

There are golf carts available to take you to and from your room, which can definitely save some steps. Just keep in mind that you may have to wait 10–15 minutes for one.

🏡 We stayed in a 2-Bedroom Villa, which sleeps up to 9 people. We had two separate bedrooms, a living area with additional sleeping space, a full kitchen and plenty of room for everyone to spread out—which can be a huge plus when you’re traveling with a larger family or multiple generations.

And yes, that bed you see tucked underneath the TV really does pull down! I love little details like this because you can actually see how the sleeping space works rather than just reading “sleeps 9” on a room description.

There’s also plenty to do if you’re planning some downtime away from the parks—from the pools to bike and surrey rentals or simply enjoying the resort.

Saratoga Springs may not always be the first resort people think of when planning a Disney vacation, but it has a lot going for it—especially for larger families, multi-generational trips, or anyone who wants to be close to Disney Springs.

✨ The right Disney resort isn’t necessarily the most popular one. It’s the one that fits how your family likes to vacation.

We officially said goodbye to the Disney Fantasy this morning, and what a great week it was!

From the food and entertainment to the incredible Cast Members—and most importantly, getting to experience it all together as a family—there was so much to love about this cruise.

It may have been 20 years since our last Disney Cruise, but I can safely say we won’t be waiting another 20 for the next one. 😉

Yesterday was our day at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! 🏝️☀️

Other than a quick rain shower, it was beautiful, HOT, and such a fun day for the kids!

We spent most of our time in the family area between the water play area and the beach, and they loved both. 💦 The sand was incredibly soft, the water was pretty clear and just the right temperature—it made for a perfect beach day.

One thing to know before you go: there is quite a walk from the ship before you reach the tram. They do have wagons available for little ones, and assistance is available for guests with mobility needs.

We definitely didn’t see everything Lookout Cay has to offer, but watching these kids have this much fun was really all we needed. ❤️🏝️

It’s cruise day!! 🚢✨

Ears are on, Bell Services picked up our bags this morning, and now we’re at the Carriage House at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort waiting for our Disney Cruise Line transfer to Port Canaveral!

Next stop… the Disney Fantasy! 🚢💙

And we’re off! ✈️🏰🛳️

This week, the travel advisor gets to be the traveler! 💙

We’re headed to Orlando with a pretty big crew — three generations of our family — for a night at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort before boarding the Disney Fantasy tomorrow for a 5-night Bahamian cruise!

And here’s the fun part…

It has been 20 YEARS since my husband, our girls and I have sailed with Disney Cruise Line! This time, we get to experience it with our grandchildren, which makes this trip even more special. ❤️

I’ll be sharing plenty along the way — our stay at Saratoga Springs, Disney transportation to the port, our Deluxe Family Stateroom with Verandah, dining, entertainment, activities for the kids and everything in between.

I’m especially excited to see what Disney cruising looks like for a multi-generational family because we have everyone from the grandkids to my parents traveling with us.
