This morning, we hiked deep into Kibale National Park on the trail of chimpanzees, and luck was on our side.

I snapped this shot during one of those magical moments that make every second of the trek worth it.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to visit the gorilla sanctuary.

Today was the most amazing and magical day! It began with gorilla trekking through misty forests, where we encountered a family of four—including a mighty silverback and a mother cradling her tiny 2-week-old baby. Truly one of the most humbling wildlife moments I’ve ever witnessed.

As if that wasn’t enough, the day ended with sightings of tree-climbing lions—a scene straight out of a dream.

As a photographer, it was simply the best day ever. Uganda, you’ve stolen my heart (and filled my memory cards!).

Day 1 in Uganda: we’re driving from Kampala to Bwindi!

Rolling through lush hills and vibrant villages on our way to the incredible Bwindi Impenetrable Forest—a place famous for its rich safari region and the world-renowned gorilla sanctuary. 🦍
