Istanbul Becomes Europe’s Busiest Air Hub

On July 25, 2025, Istanbul Airport made history by moving 271,836 passengers in a single day—the highest figure ever recorded at a European airport. ✅ 1. Huwag agad umalis sa baggage area
• Hintayin munang lumabas lahat ng bagahe sa carousel.
• Siguraduhin ding hindi lang nailagay sa ibang carousel ang iyong maleta (madalas itong nangyayari).

✅ 2. Mag-report kaagad sa Lost & Found o Baggage Services Desk
• Hanapin ang baggage claim counter ng airline na pinasakyan mo.
• Ibigay ang baggage tag stub (yung sticker na ibinigay sa’yo sa check-in).

✅ 3. Punan ang Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
• Ito ang opisyal na record ng pagkawala ng luggage.
• Nakasaad dito ang flight details, description ng bag, at contact information mo.
• Bibigyan ka ng kopya bilang resibo at reference.

✅ 4. I-follow up ang status ng iyong bag
• Kadalasan, delayed baggage lang at dumarating ito within 24–48 hours.
• Ihahatid ito ng airline sa hotel, bahay, o address na ibibigay mo.

✅ 5. Mag-claim ng compensation kung kinakailangan
• Kung delayed ng higit sa 24 oras, pwede kang humingi ng allowance para sa basic needs (damit, toiletries, atbp.).
• Kung tuluyang mawala, entitled ka sa compensation depende sa airline at sa Montreal Convention.

• Laging maglagay ng pangalan, address, at contact number sa iyong maleta.

• Ilagay sa hand-carry ang mga importanteng gamit gaya ng documents, gadgets, pera, at gamot.
