For this Travel Tip Tuesday, here’s the lowdown on balcony and oceanview staterooms vs. interior staterooms on your next cruise!

Balcony staterooms: You have your own private balcony you can enter from inside your room. This provides an added layer of privacy while still offering stunning views at every port of call! These tend to cost more than other options, but getting that experience of seeing a humpback whale breaching first thing in the morning is worth every penny.

Oceanview staterooms: Want the gorgeous views but need to focus your funds on other parts of your cruise? An oceanview stateroom lets you see every destination and get views of the water between ports, but with a more accessible price point. You can also get a stateroom with a round porthole window if you’re looking to save even more.

Interior staterooms: While these staterooms don’t typically have a view of the ocean, they still offer plenty of amenities and get you to every port without breaking the bank. They’re great for last-minute travelers or those who want to invest in other packages on their cruise!
