There's something about Disneyland that just feels different. It's the original Disney park, everything feels a little more intimate, and being able to walk between the parks makes the entire vacation feel easier.

And now 2027 Disneyland Resort vacation packages are officially available to book! Booking early gives you more choices for dates and resorts, plenty of time to budget, and lots of time to get excited about all those little extras. If you've always been a Walt Disney World family, maybe 2027 is the year you finally head west and see where it all began. ❤️

When someone tells me they've never cruised before, I almost always recommend starting with a four-night itinerary.

It's long enough to settle in, find your favorite spot on the ship, enjoy a sea day, visit a port, and experience a private island—without feeling like you've committed to an entire week if you're still figuring out whether cruising is for you.
It's also a great option for busy families. Four-night sailings fit beautifully into many school breaks, long weekends, and work schedules, making them much easier to squeeze into the calendar.

I have a feeling a lot of lifelong cruisers would tell you the same thing... All it takes is one sailing to get hooked. 😉 What was your first ship you sailed on? Drop it below ⬇️

It's always exciting to see new vacation options designed specifically with younger families in mind, and that's exactly what Universal Kids Resort is bringing to Frisco, Texas. 🎉 Instead of trying to be another massive theme park, this resort is being created for younger children with immersive lands, family-friendly attractions, and an on-site hotel built around making travel easier for parents.

I love that it's giving families another option that feels approachable without missing the fun Universal is known for. This is going to become a fantastic long-weekend destination for families. If you have little ones at home, this is definitely one to keep on your radar.
