For any of you going with us to Barcelo Maya Riviera Adults Only All Inclusive this Sunday morning!!!! A lot of you are asking about your phone service. First off, with all cellular plans, you will need to turn to airplane mode while we are flying. But once we land in Mexico there may be choices. I cannot answer for all service providers. Most plans with AT&T are fine to use in Mexico just like you are at home. If you are not sure, contact your service provider today to inquire if you are covered or what is advisable with your plan. The resort complex also provides WiFi.

For those of you going with us Sunday morning to Barcelo Maya Riviera Adults Only All Inclusive… what will be your first drink of choice when we arrive?? You can ask for anything you want, and they can probably make it for you! But here is a list of what they already know! Remember, drinks at any bar or restaurant across the 1.4 mile complex are all free to you, whatever you desire!! And the same goes for all of the food!! 26 different restaurants across the resort complex all yours for the week!!

For those of you going with us Sunday morning to Barcelo Maya Riviera Adults Only All Inclusive!!..

Do not forget your passport! Anything else you may forget can be replaced if necessary once we get there. But without your passport you will not be going at all. Also, make sure you do not pack your passport in your checked bag. Have it with you in your carry on and handy to retrieve.

Do not pack any liquids larger than 3 oz or anything that could be construed as a weapon in your carry on. If you are taking w**e or any other large volume liquid like lotions, soaps, etc.. make sure you pack them in your checked bag. But remember, your checked bags need to be under 50 pounds or there will me a massive overweight charge.

Those of you who are riding with us or following us to the airport, we are leaving the w**ery at 3am sharp Sunday morning. AIS

I have chartered our private bus to pick us up at the airport in Cancun and take us straight to the resort and also for the way back.

After checking into the resort you may want to go to guest services which is just around the corner to make reservations for whatever restaurants on the complex you would like to eat at all week. It is all free, but many of the restaurants require reservations in advance. Just remember that I have already secured us a group reservation for Agave Mexican Restaurant for Sunday evening at 6:30. Let’s plan to meet in the lobby/lobby bar area around 5:45-6 get some drinks, and walk into the restaurant as a group and maybe get some good group pictures along the way. If we get out of dinner in time, Crystal and I will probably go to the bus stop right outside the main lobby to take one of the two double deck, open top Barcelo busses to the other end of the 1.4 mile resort complex to Palace to watch their show Circus in their Monte Alban theater. The show starts at 9:30 and the Monte Alban is the largest of the 3 theaters on the complex. Any or all of you are welcome to join us and it would be a great way for you to see some of the complex that you will be owning for the rest of the week. Remember, there will always be a bar within site anywhere we are at on the complex and it is all free to you.

On January 23rd, 2028 we will be cruising on the fun Italian style Carnival Firenze for a 14 day journey exploring the Southern Caribbean!! For those of you who are going on our Barcelo Maya Riviera All Inclusive trip on October 11th. We are just over 2 weeks out!! I do have our bus chartered to take us from the airport to the resort. And I was able to get us a group reservation for the Agave Mexican Restaurant on the resort. It is a little bit of a change of plans. We said we would all go to Palace the first night like we have in years past to eat their buffet and watch their theater show. But this was the only night we were able to get reservations for our group dinner. So we can just go to Palace on the second night if everyone wants to do that. So we will be talking about it more but everyone please plan to make it to our group dinner at Agave on the first night at 6:30. It will be great! Also notice in the picture that they have updated the dress code for the restaurants on the resort complex. They have added dress shorts for men. It used to be long pants only so I know this will make some of you happy. Who’s getting excited??
