That full-size lotion, perfume, toothpaste, or liquid foundation may be what's slowing you down at airport security. ✈️
For standard TSA carry-on screening, liquids, gels, creams, aerosols, and pastes must be in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters). Those containers must also fit into one quart-size bag.
The items people forget about? Hair gel, lip gloss, liquid makeup, sunscreen, contact-lens solution, and some food items. Pack your liquids bag the night before so you are not trying to rearrange your suitcase in the security line at 5 a.m.
Save this before your next trip, and send it to the travel friend who always says, “They better not throw my stuff away.”
