Happy 55th birthday to my happy place and home away from home. Walt Disney World has given me and my family so much over the years—laughter, thrills, friends, memories, and even jobs. I feel very lucky to have been a lifelong guest and a cast member in my younger days.

I plan vacations around the world to many destinations for my clients but I wouldn’t be doing any of that if I hadn’t dipped my toe in the water many years ago helping friends plan their Disney vacations. What a dream it is to be able to help my clients create their own special memories—how is this my job?!

Lyon you were a dream! When we were planning our trip we wanted one stop to be focused on food. Lyon is the gastronomic capital of the world and did not disappoint! It also has a very rich and significant history. We saw Roman ruins and traboules, learned about the silk industry and the French Resistance, and ATE! It’s a beautiful city and I’m so glad we were able to experience it.

For our last day on Oahu (yes this is almost 4 months late) we enjoyed a resort day to fully experience everything had to offer. It was a little rainy so the children enjoyed some time at the kids’ club (Aunty’s Beach House), then we relaxed with some snacks and books with a view of the beach. We ended the day with the most stunning sunset to say goodbye to Hawaii. What a trip! Proud of my kiddos for being troopers through such long travel days to get there and back. We can’t wait for the next adventure!

Remember that time I never finished posting our Hawaii photos? Life 🤪

This is Day 5 where we embarked on the Oahu Grand Circle Tour with our rental car. While the weather was quite rainy, it gave us some beautifully spooky and moody shots! Stops included the Dole Plantation, North Shore surfing, food trucks (must do) + Hawaiian shave ice, famous filming locations, Kualoa Regional Park (where Jurassic Park movies have been filmed), and many other public beaches along the way. It was an adventurous day!
