Good Morning Everyone. Hope you enjoyed a fun filled 4th of July yesterday.
I posted that I would be closing early to go to the 4th of July Fireworks out in by the Sic Mile VFD which my husband volunteers and does the popping of the fireworks.
I started getting g calls for gas around 6:30 pm. We left at 5:30. I’m so sorry.
My regulars know and understand that most often I’m here alone. Even when Todd is home he has projects to do on the property so it’s still me to pump gas.
I only leave the property when necessary and I usually make a day trip out of it.
I say all this because I always ask you to call or text before you come to make sure I’m here.
I have issue opening early or closing late. Just make arrangements with me PLEASE!

Toledo Bend Dream

We are Todd and Melissa Dutton. Currently residents of South Louisiana. Todd originally is a mid-westerner from Nebraska. Melissa born and raised in South Louisiana. Todd is a lifetime oil field worker in the commercial diving industry. Being injured in 2007 a change had to be made and even though he continues in this industry, he can longer dive himself. That didn’t change his love for the water. Every chance we get we are in our boat and on the waters of South Louisiana as well as Toledo Bend.

Our dream was to retire to Toledo Bend. As we considered options on how to make this happen we decided why should we wait for retirement. What could we do now to help us achieve our dream. Would chance would have it my husband was looking around on line and came across this listing for Fox’s Lodge. Within days we knew we wanted to see it in person. At first glance we knew. This was our dream. This is how we live at Toledo Bend before retiring. Purchase a business you love and work and play at the same time.

Our dream comes true May 10,2019. We should be fully operational by May 13,2019 as we already have reservations.

We can’t wait to be a part of the Hemphill Comunity. We look forward to meeting all the fantastic regular customers as well as all the new ones we hope to meet along our new journey.
