The Story Our Little Cabin in the Smokies!
I want to personally thank each of our guest who choose to stay with us! We understand there are a lot of other cabins in Gatlinburg and you selected ours. That means a lot to us! A little about us: We are a small but growing family who live near Orlando, Florida. I work in the timeshare industry and the wife works for the local sheriff’s department. We have two beautiful energetic daughters who keep us busy with school and their martial arts lessons and we just found out we are expecting our third (and final) child in October.
My wife grew up in Crossville, TN and graduated from MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN and then lived and worked in Gatlinburg for some time before moving down to Florida where we met.
Fun Fact: My father owns a cabin as well only three miles from where we have our cabin! Once me and the wife started having kids my father was instrumental in convincing us that we needed a vacation home in Tennessee that we could rent out when we’re not using it but also to have a nice family getaway location. Being that I was raised in Florida and used to the beach, the mountains were a huge draw for me (we don’t have them here!) and now that the wife is here the beach is a huge plus for her so it works out great. We look forward to getting to know our guests and would love to have a steady stream of regulars that like to come back and stay with us. We love the pictures they send us and the emails about how amazing their stay was. We have had so much fun with this cabin that we are looking at buying a second one in the near future. We love Gatlinburg and the amazing people who live there and our end goal is to retire in the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
