On this date, Oct. 23, in 1972 I started my flying career with Delta Air Lines. I don't have a photo of that day handy, they are all packed away somewhere, but it was a great 28 year career until my knee had to be replaced. This photo is from several years later.

We still haven't gotten to FL to access the damage to our cottage from Helene. Now we have to postpone our trip which was going to be today. We are located on the Nature Coast north of Crystal River and south of Cedar Key. Please pray for our little community of Ynakeetown and all those in the path of Milton the Terrible. I am already getting flood warnings on my phone. 🥺

I am so excited to be headed to this beautiful all-inclusive adults only resort in Playa del Carmen in a couple of days to celebrate our 34th anniversary. I feel like I'm going on my honeymoon, woohoo!!!

Finally, the travel advisor gets a vacation! I just booked our anniversary trip at the end of September for a week at the ADULTS-only all-inclusive Wyndham Allegra in Playa del Carmen . This girl is so excited to spend a week lounging by the pool or on the beach, being waited on and just enjoying the company of my handsome husband.

This photo is a blast from the past. It's 1994 and pilot Jerry Rainwater, Linda Hutton, and I are just taking off on an adventure in a hot air balloon flying over the Great Wall of China into the unknown mountains of China. This photo was taken by J. Robert Russell who was in another American balloon piloted by Sam Alexander. A third American balloon piloted by Earl Miller with Toby Spalding joined us in this epic flight. Amazingly, all 3 balloons landed in the same little mountain village some 2 hours later. And furthermore, in case you are wondering, this was not photoshopped.
