New restaurant alert for my Franklin friends! 🍕

We tried Bravado Small Plates & Pizzabar over the weekend, the new small plates and pizza bar at Cool Springs Galleria, and it was so good. Everything tasted fresh because it is. They grow their own herbs and tomatoes, import their flour from Italy, and skip the seed oils.

We started with the caprese salad and Tuscan risotto, then split The Queen, their classic margherita. For drinks we tried a little bit of everything: Second Wind, Salt of the Earth, No Monotony, Old Habits and Bold Move. My pick? Second Wind if you love an espresso martini vibe, and No Monotony if you love limoncello.

Honestly, we loved it so much we ordered more Tuscan Risotto, Sunday Spaghetti and the Magic Mushroom pizza to go. If you’re looking for a fun date night or a girls’ night spot, put this one on your list.

Night One dinner in Chattanooga was at State of Confusion | Southside Restaurant we got all different things this time. So many delicious-sounding options! I got the frozen piña colada, Corey got the coconut mint agua fresca. We split the chicken egg rolls, crab and shrimp beignets (way too greasy IMO), Peruvian roasted chicken.

😳 Bacon and Barrel Festival isn’t happening in Nashville this year, so we’re doing what any bacon-and-wh***ey-loving person would do — 🧳 packing up and taking a 🚗 road trip down to Chattanooga Bacon & Barrel Festival It’s only a couple hours away, and trust me, it’s worth it.

This is one of our favorite events every year — local Chattanooga restaurants will go head to head with their best bacon-inspired dishes, all paired with wh***ey samples from distilleries near and far. Unlimited food tastings, 12 wh***ey pours, live music, and you get to vote for the Golden Hog champion. 🏆

Our first afternoon in Cleveland in one video 👀 Rock & Roll Hall of fame, waterfront views, the world’s largest outdoor chandelier at Playhouse Square, shrimp tacos + espresso martinis at Southern Tier, a hidden speakeasy on East 4th, and a Guardians game to close it out. One afternoon, zero wasted time.
