No, there aren’t any true all inclusive resorts in the US (besides Club Med in FL and it’s not on the ocean. Ask me if you want a description of it). 🍷
That includes Hawaii and Puerto Rico and yes, I know there are a million blogs that say it’s a thing but it’s not, TRUST ME. ✈️
That also includes Key West which also, btw, is not what you think it is. It’s a super cool destination with an awesome downtown area near a beach and the water is definitely pretty but it’s not the Caribbean with tons of beachfront resorts and I can’t make it that as much was we all wish it was. Sorry! 🏝
Also re: Hawaii.... it’s too far for a weekend. I won’t book you a three night trip from Atlanta no matter how much you swear you don’t mind the long flight. It 👏 Makes 👏 No 👏 Sense.
Yes, it’s too late to plan a trip for Easter week if you want a “deal”. 🏖
No, I can’t “work my magic” and find you a $300 airfare to Cancun for this summer because those were all sold last month. This month it’s the “pay more because everyone else got the good deals last month” special. I hate it but it’s true. But I do know how to find the dates that are a fair price and yes, I’ll tell you if I think what you want is or isn’t a fair price. (Supply and demand, people!) 🥴
$2500 is not a realistic budget for a family of four with flights for a week to anywhere. Ever. 🤷♀️ I wish it was! (Ps- Turks & Caicos is 4x that. Minimum)
We have NO IDEA when cruising will be back. Or when Americans can go to Europe. May 2021, or sometime next year? We don't know for sure.. You have no idea how badly we want to know. But we don’t. And don’t believe anyone who says they do. 🚢
Yes, Disney will FORCE your three year old to wear a mask. Even if they throw a fit. Or they will ask you to leave the park and not refund your money. Don’t try them. 🏰
We also have no clue when testing to come back to the US will end. We hope it won’t last long but we don’t get notified when the CDC or POTUS makes a decision. We just keep our ear to the ground and hope to get the scoop shortly after it’s announced but we have no inside info. 😞
I promise travel insurance is not a scam. If you ask me if I think you should buy it, the answer will ALWAYS be yes. ALWAYS. ⚠️
All this to say, we love planning vacations. LOVE. ♥️ We are just as invested in your trip as you are (if not, more). But we really can’t make unrealistic dreams a reality and don’t believe anyone who says they can. Yes, travel advisors had a hard year. And now we are super busy trying to make up for lost time while still informing our clients of all travel protocols that are different for every destination. Each trip we plan takes so much longer now than before and we are making nothing extra on that. Please be patient with us and reasonable with your ask. We want to service everyone and I know in 2020 we acted like magicians but in reality, we are not. 🪄 💫

(PS- most of us work solely on commission. Props to those who charge a fee for their professional service. Please don’t “pick the brain” of ANY professional if you don’t plan to do business with them. It’s rude and unfair. )
