Another Southern Utah Outing turned into so much more as the day progressed...
The day started out with plans to do the first paddling of the season in Sand Hollow State Park. Isaac and I left in a snowstorm and arrived to 60 degree weather on an early April day. Amazing what 3000 ft. can do!
After a couple of hours of kayaking, we were ready for more and the day evolved into an amazing adventure!
A drive into the desert, two brief but memorable hikes, an OUTSTANDING all you can eat Mongolian BBQ (officially) in the middle of nowhere, and a return home over a 9800 ft. pass that was still experiencing winter and deep snow cover!
Join me as I share what I hope is one of the best videos (and accompanying articles) I've created (with Isaac's help) - and - if you enjoy it, please do visit the post that supports the video with the entire back story.
