I just read a review from a tourist describing “People in EurekaSprings are so nice!” And went on to describe a single person who had gone out of his/her way to help them find a picnic spot.
The reason I mention it is to remind all of us to be like that when dealing with tourists around town. Every individual encounter with a visitor is actually you representing the rest of us.
