As bleak as they can be, even cloudy days have a beauty all their own. Perhaps it's spending time in the wind with your Angel, when you could have stayed home, or taken the cage somewhere. Instead, we seemed to be dancing at the dewpoint, with only a few drops here and there, and the roads remaining dry.

It's all a matter of perspective. We got to ride. The rains held out just long enough as if to say, "There's still time. You might want to take advantage of it, because the next few days won't be this nice."

I thought I'd give everyone a heads up on these motorcycle pants. Rose got them for my birthday and I LOVE them! They are the same as my jean size and they fit well over them. There are two, Velcro waist straps to ensure a good fit. It has a zip-out, quilted liner for colder months, and zippers at each hip as vents for the warmer ones. CE armor at the knees and hips and reflective stitching to get you noticed. Four large pockets are more than enough to carry all your stuff.

The only thing I would change on future runs is lowering the ankle strap on the pant legs to make sure it covers boots when seated on the bike. I'm six foot tall and wear 9" boots, and they work for me, but anyone taller may have an issue with air getting in at the ankles, and 34" is the longest inseam size available.

They're advertised as water resistant, which usually means they aren't completely waterproof, but for under $70 and a lifetime warranty, you can't go wrong and a great buy for anyone looking for gear.👍🙂🏍

Rose and I took advantage of this beautiful day and got in some much needed miles on Windy. It's been one of those months. And since we're changing the names of things, I'm changing February to Fuhquary, which is French for,,,Fuhquary. I think most riders will understand.😉

We stopped at the Cestari Sheep & Wool Company in Augusta Springs to get another Cab Sav they carry from Italy we enjoyed from our last visit to go with the steaks we planed on grilling this evening. Last time we were there, Rose scored some locally crafted wool boots they had marked down after trying on some hats. It's a cool building and store with lots to check out.

On our way back, we stopped at a very busy Ingalls Overlook on 39 and got a touron free pic. Roads were still a bit chunky, but the cruise in the highway gear up 220 to Monterey in Highland County was everything we hoped it would be for one last stop for charcoal. Cheers and bon appetit!😃🌞🥩🍷🏍🏞
