About the beach renourishment happening in Panama City Beach, Florida - What area will this take place and when.

So WHO WILL THIS PROJECT EFFECT & WHERE?
Along four segments of beach area spanning from the west to east ends and totaling approximately 3.5 miles. “Pinnacle Port Condominiums” segment will place sand from just west of Pinnacle Port and into, but not including all of, Carillon Beach to the east. At the “City Pier” (at Pier Park) will be resetting sand from and including to the city pier West to the Palazzo Condominiums. The approximate one-mile “County Pier” (M.B. Miller Pier) will place sand from and including the west side of the county pier West to the Casa Loma Hotel. The approximate one-mile “Treasure Island” segment at Treasure Island Condominiums, Seychelles Resort & Schooners Beach Club will place sand from and including Moonspinner Condominiums West to approximately just east of Gulf Drive/Hurt Street close by is Largo Mar Condos & Regency Towers Condominiums on Thomas Drive.
Where the Sand comes from?
The borrowed areas are located approximately 3.5 miles offshore at the Thomas Drive area, with secondary borrowed areas from the St. Andrews Bay entrance channel.
Expected progress is projected to be at a rate of 500 feet to 1,500 feet per day.
Work Schedule will be 7 Days a week and will continue 24 hours a day until complete, weather permitting.
The flow should be a lot quicker with the use of more than one dredging system allowing more than one location at one time to work in flow.
The Panama City Beach Renourishment is [expected] to be complete when the sea turtle nesting season begins May 1st, 2017.

The construction cost for the repair project is approved up to $17.8 million (if all options/allowances are exercised), although the base bid is $14.1 million, and it is entirely locally-funded. Let us all hope that this project is uninterrupted and has no project injuries.
