Happy June 1st! Summer is finally here! ☀️🌞🌴Here are a few pictures of our snorkeling adventures from today and yesterday. I am so happy the water is finally in the 80's! This is when it really feels comfortable for swimming for me.

🐰🐌🐚Today we found Mottled Sea Hares while snorkeling! 🤿

These bizzare creatures are named for their "ears" which makes them kind of look like the slug version of a Rabbit. These are called Rhinophores and are not ears at all! They are more like noses and help them navigate the world and detect scents and pheremones.

They can sq**rt ink similar to a squid to deter predators.

☠️🐶⚠️ THESE CREATURES ARE HIGHLY TOXIC TO DOGS AND CAN BE LETHAL IF LICKED OR INGESTED❗️

MAKE SURE TO KEEP PETS AWAY FROM THESE EVEN IF THEY ARE DEAD AND WASHED UP ON THE BEACH.

🦈🦈🦈Check out this insane Spinner Sharks video! These sharks are total show-offs and dolphins can't compete! 🦈🦈🦈 This hunting technique is so cool and fun to watch, I'm loving it!

🦈🐬🐡🐢🐚 Here are some pictures I took yesterday.

We saw so many sea creatures❗️

I couldn't get enough of the school of Spinner Sharks jumping out of the water! We also found a sea turtle humerus snorkeling, along with many other treasures! I caught a pufferfish and put him in our aquauim to show him off before releasing him in the same spot where we found him. Same with the Brittle Starfish and all the live marine snails. Dolphins were also extremely active!
