๐Ÿ  A new underwater adventure has arrived in Oneida County!

We were excited to join the Greater Utica Chamber and community partners for the ribbon cutting of the brand-new Ball Reef Habitat at the Utica Zoo.

More than 18 months in the making, this incredible exhibit brings the beauty and wonder of coral reef ecosystems to the heart of Utica while supporting important conservation efforts. Inspired by Dr. Ronnie Ballโ€™s lifelong passion for coral reefs and made possible through partnerships, philanthropy, and dedicated community support, the habitat offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the diverse marine life of the Indo-Pacific Ocean.

The Utica Zoo is also participating in the SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) program, helping protect endangered coral and fish species through education, conservation, and collaboration.

Be sure to add it to your summer bucket list and experience Oneida Countyโ€™s newest attraction for yourself! ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŸ
