It’s snowing in the Rockies and the official start of the season is almost upon us with Breckenridge set to open this Friday, November 13th, followed by Vail a week later on the 20th. However, as much as we all love resort skiing, there may be some of us who may be looking for a more private secluded experience this season and a cat skiing trip may be the answer. Gather your group and treat yourself to untouched powder skiing off of the resort followed by lunch in a cozy yurt or cabin. Want to check it out yourself? Tomorrow (Friday, November 6th) marks the start of the Priority Reservation period for Epic Pass holders. This window allows you and your family to choose the seven (7) key days you want to ski throughout the core season. You will be able to book these days on epicpass.com any time from Friday, November 6th through Monday, December 7th. You can join the waiting room as early as 7 a.m. MST and pass holders will be able to make reservations starting at 8 a.m. MST. Due to the large number of requests we have been getting, we thought it was best to let everyone know that, unfortunately, all sleigh ride dinners have been canceled this season due to COVID-19. :( We know these are a big draw, especially for the holiday season, so we will keep everyone posted if the situation changes. In the meantime, please consider hiring a personal chef to cook a custom meal for you at your residence or have food catered and delivered to your home. In addition, please keep in mind that most restaurants will be open for business, albeit with reduced capacities. As soon as we know more information on what other options exist, we will let you all know. Thanks for your understanding and patience during these tough times. In the meantime, please stay safe and think snow!

Thank you Mother Nature for blanketing Vail with what looks like mid-season conditions! It's the perfect time to book that ski trip and leave the planning to us.
