🎉Huge congrats to Philip Duclos ( ), a former Scholar-In-Residence and now beloved Festival Artist — he is the recipient of Denmark’s Ballettens Venner Talent Prize this season!! As a member of the Royal Danish Ballet, Philip was recognized for his substantial achievements over his 3 seasons with the company by Princess Benedikte of Denmark. He has performed featured roles in works by Wayne MacGregor, George Balanchine, and Harold Lander, most notably making his debut this season as Prince Désiré in The Sleeping Beauty.

Reflecting on this significant moment, Philip shared his thoughts with us:
“I am so honored to have been awarded this talent prize. I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have been given so far this season, and how much I have been able to grow this year.”

Congratulations again to Philip — we look forward to all that’s to come!!
