⚠️A Message from Local Scene Cruise Nights⚠️
First and foremost, we would like to thank every one of our supporters, participants, volunteers, and board members. Without you, Local Scene Cruise Nights Non-Profit Organization would not exist. More importantly, we would not be able to give back to our community in the meaningful ways that we do.
Each of you has shown up to our cruises, meets, and car shows, making it possible for us to support organizations such as Valdosta Toys for Tots, Vet Team Six, and the Beyond the Cry Foundation for Cri du Chat Syndrome. Together, we have also contributed to food, pet supply, and school supply drives that have benefited families throughout our community.
From the beginning, our mission has been simple: to provide a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment where automotive enthusiasts of all ages can come together to share a common passion. For many, these events are an opportunity to decompress after a long week. For others, they provide fellowship, excitement, and meaningful social connections. We remain committed to preserving that atmosphere for everyone.
Like many organizations, we have faced challenges along the way—from careless driving incidents that threatened participant safety to construction that forced us to relocate meet-up locations. We have also made difficult decisions when individuals’ actions jeopardized the safety or enjoyment of others. Through each challenge, our focus has remained on protecting our community and ensuring the success of our events.
⚠️Recently, it came to our attention that the members of Mopar Road Burnerz have actively promoted Local Scene Cruise Nights. We genuinely appreciate any effort to support our organization and encourage participation within the local automotive community.
However, after careful consideration and consultation with legal counsel, we have determined that the ongoing interactions involving this group are no longer consistent with our mission of maintaining a safe, welcoming, and family-oriented environment. As a result, effective immediately, Mopar Road Burnerz, as an organized group/club, is prohibited from attending or participating in any event hosted by Local Scene Cruise Nights.⚠️
This decision was not made lightly. Our responsibility is, and always will be, to protect the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of our participants, volunteers, supporters, vendors, sponsors, and their families.
Finally, we would like to clarify our role within the local automotive community. Local Scene Cruise Nights will continue hosting car shows featuring fair and unbiased judging. We also proudly support other events through advertising, attendance, volunteer efforts, and, at times, sponsorships through donated awards, prizes, or financial contributions. When supporting events hosted by other organizations, Local Scene Cruise Nights and its administrators do not oversee or participate in the judging process unless specifically requested by the hosting organization.
We remain committed to building a positive car community centered on respect, safety, fellowship, and giving back. We appreciate the continued support of everyone who shares in that vision.
