Today’s itinerary: Absolutely nothing! 🌴☀️

Well… almost nothing. 😂

Turks & Caicos is one of those destinations where the color of the water almost doesn’t seem real.

I spent time enjoying the beautiful beaches and resorts, but South Caicos was my favorite part of the trip.

Think private pools overlooking the ocean, kayaking, exploring sandbars, and hunting for seashells.

And speaking of shells… I found the most magnificent pink conch shell! 🐚 I actually went looking for it, found it myself, and let’s just say it attracted a little envy. 🤣

It was the perfect combination of doing absolutely nothing and enjoying a little adventure.

Sometimes that’s exactly what a vacation should be. 💙

A great hotel rate can be tempting. But before you book, consider what that location might actually cost you.

A hotel farther from the heart of a destination may save you money on the room, but those savings can quickly disappear in transportation costs, not to mention valuable vacation time spent getting back and forth.

There’s something wonderful about stepping outside your hotel and finding charming cafés, wonderful restaurants, shops, and local life right at your doorstep. 🇮🇹

Of course, sometimes a peaceful hillside retreat or secluded waterfront resort is exactly what you’re looking for!

The secret isn’t necessarily staying in the center of everything. It’s choosing a location that fits the way YOU want to travel.

And that’s one of the many details I consider when helping clients plan their trips.

Because a great hotel isn’t just about the room. It’s about the entire experience. ❤️

Some of my favorite travel memories happen around the table! 🍽️🌍

From pizza in Naples and pasta in Bologna to sushi I made in Tokyo, afternoon tea in Cape Town, and steak tartare in Paris.

Add a little ch*****ne in Épernay, wonderful w**e in South Africa, pear ice cream aboard a Japanese train, and an especially delicious chocolate mousse in Paris… and I’m in heaven! 🥂🍫

For me, discovering a destination through its food and w**e is one of the great joys of travel.

Some experiences are just too good not to repeat! 🥂🛥️

After sailing aboard Évrima with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection in the Caribbean earlier this year, these wonderful clients loved the experience so much that they’ve booked her again!

Same beautiful yacht. A whole new adventure! ✨

This time, they’re setting their sights on the Mediterranean!

And judging by the photos they shared from their first sailing, I think it’s safe to say they know how to enjoy themselves! 🍸

One of my favorite things about being a travel advisor is helping clients discover experiences they love so much that they can’t wait to enjoy them again.

🚄 All aboard!

There’s something about traveling by train that I absolutely love!

From Japan’s famous bullet trains and Italy’s sleek high-speed rail to riding through the snow-covered Swiss Alps and traveling between London and Paris aboard the Eurostar, I’ve enjoyed some wonderful journeys on the rails.

And there’s something special about watching the scenery unfold outside your window, relaxing along the way, and arriving right in the heart of a city.

Sometimes the train ride becomes one of your favorite memories of the entire trip!

✨ My travel tip: Don’t overlook train travel when planning your next adventure. It’s often convenient, comfortable, and a wonderful way to experience a destination.

I have a little packing trick I’ve been using and it’s one of my favorites! ✈️

I never leave home without my foldable Longchamp bag.

It starts out small enough to tuck into my suitcase, but by the time I’m heading home, it’s usually earned a promotion to carry-on! 😂

It expands to hold all those things I somehow managed to acquire along the way. I can even slip my handbag inside and perch the whole thing on top of my rolling computer case.

No extra luggage required!

Sometimes the best travel accessories are the ones that take up almost no room at all. 🧳✨

Not every travel experience comes wrapped in glamour. 🐒🇷🇼

Some require getting up before sunrise, lacing up your hiking boots, and heading deep into the African rainforest.

Chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda was one of those adventures I’ll never forget.

The terrain was steep, rocky, muddy, and slippery. It was physically demanding, and yes… I even took a tumble! 😂

But seeing chimpanzees in their natural habitat, watching them move through the forest and hearing the sounds of the jungle made every challenging step worthwhile.

A special shoutout to my wonderful porter, who helped me navigate the difficult terrain. ❤️

I returned exhausted, muddy, and incredibly grateful.

Because sometimes the most unforgettable travel experiences aren’t the easiest ones.

They’re the ones you earn. 🌍✨
