Day 4 - A Lot Has Been Accomplished This Week! A few more things will be finished up in the morning before the group heads home. Such a wonderful time of work and fellowship with the Campers on Mission Family and the Jenness Park Staff Family. Hope you all enjoy our group picture šŸ˜‰ (missing a few, but most made it in time).

Day 3 - Hump day! We have completed one of the buildings painting and move into another building to help the other ladies finish by the end of the week. Papa is getting the landscaping looking beautiful. The ā€œBridge Trollsā€ are hard at work fixing the bridge. The new bell platform is starting to take shape. Lots of organizing of the sporting equipment means moving it from one area to another (which means a fun ride on some trikes). Some of the trucks and golf carts are being fixed. Bunks are starting to take shape. A new door in one of the buildings. A deep cleaning of the bunkhouses for the campers coming up for the weekend. So, lots of progress, but much more to do.

Day 2 - Weā€™ve been very, very busy with our projects. We even finished one - the new log retaining wall near the office....

Day 2 - Weā€™ve been very, very busy with our projects. We even finished one - the new log retaining wall near the office. Had a few glitches with PG&E turning off some of our power. But, we grabbed a few generators and kept on working.

Day 1 - Well, we hit the ground running will all our tasks. Currently working on a bridge fix, replacing a retaining wall, taking apart the old beds and building new bunk beds, lots of painting, a door fix, landscaping, and re-organizing everything after the summer fun.

Day 5 - Finishing up the last of the painting for this trip before heading out. What a vast difference some paint and new bunks make. The lighter paint makes the rooms look so much larger and cleaner. The new bunk design is higher up (to be able to put luggage underneath), longer (can fit someone a bit taller), better bed platform (actually flat), better ladder design, and a better and longer bed rail (so no ones rolls off in the middle of the night). Also, it has been sanded somewhat, so fewer splinter issues šŸ¤£. RC track is still in the works, stay tuned for the results later.
