🚨✈️ TRAVEL HOT TAKE (FROM EXPERIENCE): 🚗🚢
I always have travel insurance — and yes, I buy an ANNUAL PLAN. Because the way I travel? It just makes sense. 💁♀️
Here’s why I stopped playing games with “maybe I’m covered” 🙃👇
🛳️ A few years ago on a Disney Cruise, I got sick. Like… had to see the ship doctor sick. 💸 That visit alone was $400+ just to be seen, plus meds. Back home? That same urgent care visit + meds would’ve been under $50. Lesson learned REAL fast: 👉 Regular health insurance does NOT cover you overseas or at sea.
I knew travel insurance existed, but I always declined it because I thought my credit cards had me covered. Spoiler alert: ❌ not enough. So I actually researched it 🔍 and discovered annual travel insurance — and I’ve had it ever since.
✨ What I love about MY plan: ✔️ Covers trips when I’m away from home overnight AND the trip is planned - these 2 things must be true.
✔️ Doesn’t matter if I’m ✈️ flying, 🚗 driving to another state, 🏨 staying in a hotel, or 🚢 cruising
✔️ 24-hour assistance + app-based claims
✔️ Trip delay, baggage, cancellation & interruption coverage
💥 BUT THE BIG ONE FOR ME:
🚁 Emergency Medical Transportation – $100,000
That includes things like helicopter transport or medical evacuation. If you’ve ever seen the cost of that… yeah. HARD PASS on paying out of pocket. 😳
Peace of mind > surprise bills. Every. Single. Time. 🧳✨
If you travel even a few times a year, annual coverage is absolutely worth looking into.
