Rome 2025: A Pilgrimage of Hope ✨

When I chose my vacation destination this year, I knew I wanted to be in Rome at least once—but this time, for something more meaningful. 2025 marks the Catholic Church’s Jubilee Year of Hope, a once-every-25-years celebration that brings millions of pilgrims to the Eternal City. As someone born and raised Catholic, I thought it would be special to be in Rome, say a prayer, and take part in this historic event.

I’ve been to Rome multiple times, but never during a Jubilee Year, when the city transforms into a global center of faith. Pilgrims can walk through the Holy Doors of the four major basilicas, a symbol of God’s mercy.

To my fellow Catholics—just a thought on vacation planning in 2025! This might be the perfect year to visit Rome and experience something truly special. Looking forward to seeing Rome in a whole new light! ✨🇻🇦
