We hope your time spent here will inspire you to visit us at our real home just north of Valparaiso, Indiana. Or if you are already one of the family, spend some time reliving memories sharing the Camp Lawrence Spirit. Since opening in 1959, Camp Lawrence has been home to over 40,000 children from as close as Valparaiso, Indiana to as far as Texas and Alaska, as well as from around the world. Open

to children ages 7 to 14, this resident camp has enabled youth to experience the wonders of the great outdoors in a Catholic Christian environment. Through the guidance of trained counselors, the youth grow physically, intellectually and spiritually as they share adventures sitting by the campfire, going on a nature hike, swimming, creating works of art, plus playing sports and so much more. Hello CYO @ Camp Lawrence families! We have great news: Registration for the 2026 camping season is officially OPEN!

We are thrilled to spend another summer with you. We’re looking forward to swimming at Moss Lake, playing Gaga in the Pit, making fun crafts every day, spending time surrounded by nature, and OF COURSE making lifelong memories with all our new friends! 🫶🌳⛺️

To register or to learn more about camp, go to www.cyocamplawrence.com or www.nwicyo.org. Click “REGISTER,” and start by creating an account or logging into your account from last summer. Next, select “Register My Players.” Then, you can start filling out your camper application.

We are all packed up and headed out the front gate, and we wish we could linger a little longer. We had an incredible summer full of laughter, music, friendship, and so much love. Merry Christmas!!! Today’s the big day, and we kicked off our celebration with a beautiful candlelit walk to Midnight Mass with the newly ordained Father Alex!

Campers got to sleep in a bit this morning, and they’ve been celebrating the holiday by decorating the cafeteria, playing dodgeball in the shade, going on a nature scavenger hunt, and performing some synchronized swimming dances to Christmas music!

It’s a hot one out here today at Camp Lawrence, but we’re staying cool and keeping up the holiday spirit. We’re looking forward to the talent show and our big Christmas party tonight! 🎅🏼🎄🎁
